    Best iPad Ever

Lightweight, fast, crisp clear graphics. This was an upgrade from an iPad 2 (which was still going strong). Especially like the fingerprint unlock. My 7 yr old grandsons love Seri. They are slow typists and Seri can understand them quite well even with missing tooth lisps. I use iCloud Backup and the data transfer was seamless, nothing missing. I bought a cellular iPad without service and was disappointed to find I could not sign up for Verizon through consumer subscription; then I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is a "free cellular" choice which works great for me! Use for business as well as recreational. Definitely recommend.

The I Pad is very user friendly. The screen is easy on the eyes. I am able to do almost anything on it that I use to do on my computers

I misunderstood abilities of this tablet. It did not provide second phone option which I was looking for. It is excellent when viewing netflix or other movies. It is a little heavy to use as a reader for more than a few minutes

If WiFi only, 5 stars, cell service a downgrade

This was a replacement for an original iPad with cell, which we've used for years and still works, except Safari crashes a bit now. Rather than keep debugging the old iPad, we figure we got our money's worth and upgraded to the new iPad with cell service. As with many Apple products, its an engineering marvel. Great screen, light, thin, attractive. Very happy with it. The cell service is a real disappointment. Connecting the original iPad to the cell network was a simple setting. Gave it your credit card and off you went month to month with internet access even when driving down the road. The new iPad is a complete annoyance (and still doesn't work). Your have to navigate a menu of vendors to pick from with no useful information on how to compare. Once you make a choice they run you through an up-sell from what you think the costs are. Then, you have to set up an account with the vendor, and if you have a block on your credit checks (like we all should these days) you are told you have to go a store in person to activate the cell. A far more complicated (and for me unsuccessful) process than the original iPad. All I want is a month to month access fee against my credit card. It is not an improvement for this purchase that is so trivial and small, and the experience is very un-Apple-like. If I had to do it over again I would have purchased the iPad without cell service and purchased a portable hot-spot from a cell vendor directly. 5 stars for the WiFi only version, however. I would recommend the Wifi-only version to a friend.

I have had the iPad first-generation, the iPad second-generation, the iPad fourth-generation and an iPad mini second-generation. I was a bit hesitant to get the iPad air at first, but once I tested out an iPad fourth-generation and an iPad air 2 side-by-side, I saw how much faster and easier it was for my stylus to be recognized on my favorite drawing apps. Aside from it being faster than the previous generation iPads and size, I really don't see much of a difference. Maybes because I just use the iPad for drawing and not much else but it works great with pencil, the Adonit Jot touch PP and the Wacom fine point stylus.

I have to use a pc for my work primarily. I am an architect and use autodesk programs that are enhanced for pc's only. Autodesk is experimenting with apple products, but, in my opinion, are not there yet. That said, for daily mobile use, email, browsing the web, texting, facetime, netflix and notes, the apple ipad is my go-to product. This is the third one I have owned. As the ability of software and apps increases, so do the hardware requirements. You have to purchase a new one every few years to keep us your speed. The Ipad Air 2 does not disappoint. It is quick and responsive. I use it with a Logitech Type+ keyboard. It is a great system. Eventually, when this one becomes slow in the future, I'll get another one. Nature of the beast. Give it a 5!

Well worth the upgrade from my 4th Gen. Extremely light compared to my 4th gen. which makes a big difference when using IPad handheld. Also there is a noticeable difference in display quality, but not drastic. Camera is also better quality both front and back. And if you didn't know by now it also has finger print reader as well which is very useful. But with that said I needed an iPad with data plan which was the main reason I upgraded my 4th gen was wifi only. So if your tight on cash and debating the upgrade I recommend just wait until the next version is released. But hey if you have at least $500-600 to spare go for it it's well worth the upgrade and you also can sell your old iPad online to cut the cost down.

iPad Air 2 - An amazing tablet

I've had an iPhone for several years, so I'm familiar with iOS, but had never gone the iPad route. It's AMAZING to have a big screen for iOS apps, particularly those that have been optimized for iPad. The touch ID is awesome and incredibly convenient, and usable in some non-Apple apps as well. Basic tasks such as web surfing and managing email is easy, and the huge amount of quality apps that are available is mind boggling. Half the time I now reach for the iPad instead of my laptop when I have something to do online. If you're a big iOS fan, or have long been a member of the Apple universe, it's a no-brainer getting the latest and greatest iteration of the iPad. Is it worth the extra price? Depends on what you want to do, how dependent you are on iOS, and if ease of use and consistency among apps are important to you. In my case, as I mentioned, it was a no-brainer!

I've owned just about every iPad at one point in time. The 1st generation iPad Air was my favorite and I've owned for over 18 months. I happened to stumble upon a sale and decided to upgrade. My main motivation for upgrading was the 2GB of RAM, twice that of Air & the iPhone 6 & 6 plus. The added memory makes everything feel smooth and your web tabs aren't constantly refreshing. I also wanted to get 64GB of storage for the price of 32 last year. Overall everything is great, it's fast, light, and does everything I need better than any Apple product I've ever owned. It's only real down sizes are the annoying vibration you feel all over the place while using the external speakers. It amazes me that this passed quality control. The other is how can they still see 16GB of storage? No way near enough so you're forced to pay $100 over entry level for something you could actually use. Well $130 of cellular is ridiculous too.

iPad Air 2 is the greatest purchase I have made. It's gotten even better with iOS 9.1 which allows split screen multitasking and picture and picture which is fricken fantastic!! It is incredibly fast and so easy to hold. Handoff works perfect on it coming from or going to my iPhone or to my MacBook. I find I use my computer much less. Great device I would only get it with a data package from att or Verizon. Only $10 to add to your plan is pretty sweet.

I needed an iPad for my new job and my old iPad 2 just wasn't going to cut it. I needed a faster processor, more storage, and cellular connectivity. The 64GB iPad Air 2 + Cellular has been amazing. I'm sometimes still in disbelief over how thin and light this thing is. I have always went for Space Gray (or black) in my Apple devices, but the Silver was on sale (by a wide margin) and Space Gray was not, so I opted for the Silver/White version. My worried were put to rest as it is really a beautiful device. I highly recommend it to anyone!

    Typical Apple Product

Why Apple typical? It looks good, it performs well, it has superior picture quality, long battery life - in short it does what it is supposed to. This is not my first iPad, and is everything as advertised. The thing about Apple's products is that they cost what seems to be too much, but they do everything promised, and seem to be rugged besides. To me, no other brand tablet comes even close. The only thing that would make it better is a lower price.

I had to replace my iPad 3 broken screen and bought this new iPad air 2. It is just a tad smaller than the iPad 3 and thinner so my zag it covers that I had three don't fit it. But the screen size is just as good as my old three and just as clear with the retina display with a faster processor and a much lighter body to carry around. I am not sure that the from Princeton security is worth the difference between the iPad air 2 and the plain air but being a gadget freak I sprung for the difference which does make getting into the machine fasterby a bit. This machine functions better than the old iPad 3 and with the smaller body which is lighter it's much easier to be portable.

I used an iPad 1 and an iPad 2 at work prior to getting this iPad Air 2 for personal use. I am not a very "techy" person, so I don't really get much out of lots of bells and whistles, but figured I would get the "latest" since I don't want to have to update for a long time. I plan to do some traveling, so I forked out the extra bucks to get the cellular capability. So far the product has not disappointed. I mainly use the tablet for email, maps, reading, reviewing/editing documents, Internet browsing, and things like jigsaw puzzles. Best Buy had the best price by quite a bit.

Fantastic tablet with the huge selection of iPad optimized apps in the apple App Store it's a fantastic tablet for first time users and professionals. Very light and thin with an amazing screen. The camera is OK for a tablet but that's not the reason you get a tablet. Design is flawless and looks amazing in Gold finish. If I had to choose 1 gripe that would be because of its thinness when playing music at decent volume the bottom portion of the iPad vibrates with the low bass of the song, many people noticed it but it's not a deal breaker because the speaker sounds very good.

My wife says she can notice a bit of the speed increase from her original Ipad Air. It is light weight and the fingerprint sensor is nice for unlocking. I am not a huge fan of the white section on the top back but that is a nit at best. The other nit was that the ipad that we were replacing was an OS revision ahead of what came out of the box which prevented a backup restore from working without a second reset. It would be nice if they would have prompted for an update out of the box before getting to the backup restore. Overall great product.

This was purchased to replace a four year old iPad that I was very happy with. Just wanted to get most updated version and was on sale so it was time. As a current fan of apple products, I expected to be happy with this and I was. It's faster than my older I pad with some other increas d functionality like the Touch ID. Overall, enough of an improvement to justify the upgrade, and my daughter is appreciating getting the old one.
