My son used a iPad that was given to him in high school for his assignments. He found it so efficient he wanted one for college so i purchased it and he loves is the Air model. Very light and fast!

I guess you can blame ASUS for having me turn my back on Android devices (after almost 4 years straight with them). I had a Google Nexus 10 which is probably the best Android tablet you could get that's not a Galaxy Note/Tab device. I wanted to go compact so I got a Google Nexus 7 (ASUS) and what a horrible customer experience when dealing with defective hardware. I guess being exposed to Android and their non-optimized for tablet apps for so long got me used to the quirks. But after tinkering with my iPad Air, all the 'lag' and actually tinkering with apps that are built for a TABLET (unlike Android where the mobile apps are basically the same ones you access on Google Play Store and they look awful on a tablet with a 10+ inch screen). For the record, iOS 7 and Android are very similar. In fact, aside from multiple users, customization, etc. there's almost nothing you can't do in an Android where you can do on an iOS device better. They're both really good operating systems. I don't think I'll ever look back to Android until they get their act together in regards to implementing their apps and software to match their tablets. After 4 years with Android mediocre tablets, going to the iPad Air was a huge refreshing experience. Apple's customer service beats all the other competition in regards to tablet manufacturers (especially ASUS, who unfortunately is the designated manufacturer of Google's awesome Nexus 7). The iPad Air is however PRICEY. After you get the accessories and the $99 Apple Care (trust me, it's worth it to cover your investment for 2yrs), I really didn't have enough money to justify another 16gb of space. You will need it. 4gb is already used up by the iPad Air so you're technically only free to use 12+ gb. It's a shame too. I could have used that extra 4gb for more music, videos, etc.

I was not satisfied with the quality or perforance of the product. It is very slow as compared to the Surface Pro 3 and defintely is not a suitable replacement for a laptop.

I purchased this as an upgrade to my iPad 2. Its lighter, keeps a longer charge, and it works better with my add on Bluetooth devices. I'm extremely pleased with it.

I bought a droid tablet and the clarity in the Ipad screen is so much better, There is no contest, have never had a problem with it and it works flawless.

Had to exchange for new one twice. Had any problems from the get go that even made the geek squad cringe. To expensive to have so many issues so much time wasted.

This iPad is my first Apple device. I am impressed. The iOS is fluid, seamless, and intuitive. It's user friendly. The display is clear and bright. Long battery life. It's very well made. This is a high quality product in all respects. And I got a good deal at BB. (I paid cash so I'm not a verified purchase.)

This is my favorite tablet that I've owned so far! It's really light with or without a case. The battery can last 3 to 4 days with medium use on a single charge. Screen is really responsive, even with a thick screen protecter. The camera is super awesome too. The only thing wish this tablet had is adobe flash. But that's no biggie because hardly any tablet has that.

I wasn't sure of what tablet to purchase with all the options out there. I ended up choosing the iPad Air because I have an iPhone, MacBook and a Mac desktop. The tablet is fast, sleek and takes high quality photos. Couple that with apple's integration features this tablet was a winner.

I was very disappointed because the case was not reliable. It fell over very easily. You could not turn it because the wires were in the wrong place.

this product stinks. is not apple s best effort. hope that instructions or some way to address them is included with the priduct as sales proceed.

Ipad is so light now with it being the air model...same great use just lighter and faster than the older model...still a great buy!

I upgraded from an iPad 2 to the iPad Air. Let me just tell you how much better the screen resolution is compared to the iPad 2. Crisp pictures and the blacks are nice and black. I knew when I bought it that the picture and features would be improved, but what surprised me even more was that the sound was better. I used to have issues watching movies with my friend using the iPad 2 because of sound. We were always straining to hear the audio clearly, and a couple of times had to set up small speakers. The iPad Air must have improved speakers or the volume is able to be turned up more, or both. You can also notice a huge difference in the responsiveness of the tablet. The A7 processor is quite apparent and a very big upgrade from the iPad 2. The one thing I do not like about the iPad Air is that the smart cases run a $79.99 (case, not cover, because who wants to only protect the screen?) which I find overly expensive. And Apple should really think about branching out in color choices. Apple pink is really ugly. Anyway, 10/10 on the iPad Air itself. At least, until a new and improved version comes out... which will make me want a new one!

I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. I thought Apple had jumped the shark and would not be able to make any better iPad than my old iPad 4. But the iPad Air still stretches the limits. Being thin and light, the iPad Air makes it very easy for me to carry it, and to use it while lying down.

Very user friendly. Tablet is easy to use, display is superb, and apps are diverse and easy to use.

I love my new iPad air. It is so light weight and looks nice. It is much faster than my old iPad.

This was the best thing I had bought from Apple! I really wanted a tablet for a long time I didn't know what kind though but I knew apple would be nothing but the best! It's everything I hoped for and more. It does everything and quickly. It's the best if you don't want to use your laptop you can surf the web, watch movies, check emails. I also wrote notes on my iPad with my wireless keyboard. Great investment!

It would not keep a charge. I had to return it. Now I am having a similar problem with this one!

I am very happy with this ipad air... Setting up the wifi for use was very easy and makes it the center of my online experience both in my home and on the go. Lightweight design make it easy to take anywhere and the screen has great definition and contrast. Making watching shows on Netflix, Hulu, etc very enjoyable. I would recommend to anybody, especially at the price I was able to get from Best Buy.

Much lighter and fast than my previous ipad 2! Great buy and would recommend to anyone!
