This tablet is very lightweight while still having a high quality screen, good quality camera and useful battery life. It was a gift for a relative and she's able to better keep in touch with us and the outside world as a result of FaceTime, social media syncing through iOS apps, and more. Her grandchildren also love watching movies on this device (not disc-based, but rather iTunes/digital ones).

I have owned several Apple products, and the iPad is the most distinguished among Apple's line up relative to its competition. The most compelling aspects of this tablet are the beautiful design, and the 10 hour battery life. These are the two features that made me decide to purchase another Apple product irrespective of their business practices which try to squeeze money out of their customers by not supporting devices properly after they are released.

This is my third one purchased and they seem like they just get better,would love to buy iPad pro but will have to wait till price drops a little. 800 seems high for 2 more inches of screen.Had a problem with old iPad freezing and wouldn't open,Apple helped online hooked it up to computer and they wiped it clean and refreshed it. Apple stands behind all their products which is why I wil always purchase more. Good stuff great product.

Got this is a gift for my wife and she uses it daily now. Loves how light it is and the crisp display. She uses it for shopping/web surfing - but videos stream quickly on it as well. Gets solid battery life as well - though we have not measured it out. Incredibly easy to use - particularly if you are used to an iPhone or iPod touch. Highly recommended if you are looking for a tablet.

Well, I am probably one of the most anti-Apple people around but I love their iPads. I cannot get enough of Apple's tablets. I have 2 iPad 2's and just got the Air for my wife. Not much difference between the 2 and the air software wise. The OS is identical to the iPad 2. However the hardware is where this puppy shines. The air is so much faster than the 2 from a raw processing standpoint. Side by side launching the same apps and the air is ready to go while the 2 had to think a bit more, just a second or 2 but noticeable. The Retina is crisp, sharp and colorful. No jagged edges on the text. And then finally, it is light as a feather. After holding my 2 for a while I begin to notice the weight. Using the Air is like holding a book or a cell phone. I get nervous sometimes typing on it that I am going to punch my finger right through it, but it holds up. Very durable for its super slim physique. Also uses the micro charger unlike the 32 pin of previous iPads. Definitely an upgrade over the 2 but subtle upgrades. Nothing earth shattering.

It's fast, light, and sleek, especially compared to the iPad2 I used to use before this one. I use it everyday. It has met all my expectations.

I bought this gadget for myself on Black Friday. Although I know that Apple does not usually gives out Black Friday deals, I was so glad Best Buy did . My Ipad Air is my new toy now, it is so easy to navigate, so light to carry, photos are crisp & clear, and lightning fast! I start my day using it and ends with it just the same. I'm so glad I decided to get it for myself.

I have owned iPads in the past, but this is by far the best one yet. It is so thin and light, that it is very easy to carry around and hold with one hand even. The screen is great as always and there are a ton of high quality and useful apps. Some of it's very few downfalls would be that it collects fingerprints very easily. I find I'm always wiping the screen. Also I wish Apple would boost the storage capacity because 16gbs fills up fairly quick when you start checking out the great apps on the App Store. Other than that I love this thing!

I was very happy with my iPad 2, but when the iPad Air came out I checked it out. It's about half a pound lighter and much quicker to load. The best new feature is the retina display screen; very sharp and very bright. Like all Apple products, it's beautifully designed. Price is always an issue with Apple, but I was willing to pay it and I'm happy with my choice.

This is my first Apple product that I have owned in a long time. I think that everyone knows that Apple makes a great product. My iPad Air confirms that. I am currently writing this review on my iPad. It does almost everything my laptop will do, but much thinner, lighter, and more portable. Great for traveling as well. I haven't even tapped into the potential of everything this iPad Air will do yet. Can't wait to see.

Ipad air is very light and easier to tote around. The camera is excellent and the didplay is sharp. Apple makes it easy to set up too.

The iPad Air is fast working, has lots of storage, and the camera is great but I was a little upset when I realized that on the iPad Air there is no flash for the camera but it in the end the pictures are not blurry they are clear. A feature that I like about the iPad is that it is light and not problematic. I would recommend this iPad Air to everyone, my family, and my friend as well. I am really glad that this iPad Air was created it tally help me thought out the day. It is good for work and school.

The tablet is perfect for all entertainment and general internet surfing purposes. The size and portability make it ideal for reading books, watching internet streams and internet related business such as paying bills. I own 3 other tablets and this by far is best tablet that has replaced my others. The weight and portability rival the mini version of this tablet. I had another 10 in tablet for internet movie watching and that too has been put in retirement because of this tablet. Overall for entertainment and web browsing, this tablet replaces the need to have a tablet for that specific function I could not quite get out of 1 tablet. As all other tablets this tablet does not quite replace the need for a personal computer even with all attached peripherals. But it comes close. The manufacturer finally got it right. The screen size that is required to truly enjoy a streaming movie and the weight and size that make the mini version a bit easier to handle.

I LOVE my iPad!!! I will never, ever, again buy any phone, tablet, or computer that isn't an Apple product. The iPad Air is sleek, portable, super fast and it easily interfaces with my iPhone. It is also an excellent buy for such an awesome product!

Love the iPad Air. The size and weight is great! Love the speed and vivid colors. Takes excellent photos and the color is vivid!

This Apple Air is a great size, doesn't weigh much and is so clear and user-friendly that I am very pleased that I bought it.

I enjoy all apple products and this one does not disappoint. Compared to my old iPad this one is much thinner and the picture quality is great when watching movies. I got the 16 and would suggest getting more memory if you have a large iTunes collection as I do. I am almost out of memory but that one was on me not the iPad.

Bought this as a "go between" my full laptop and my Android phone...I'm finding I don't use my laptop at all now and the ease of using the IPad is remarkable. I'm away from my family from time to time, and using this to "face time" them is awesome...the picture is so clear that it's like being in the same room with them! Makes time away from my wife and kids more bearable. I would recommend this to everyone!

Thin , sleek & useful. I bought it as a gift for my retired dad -- who found it very easy to use . Pictures are awesome too.
