We've had an iPad 2nd Gen for two years & my son and I primarily use it. I bought the new Air for my husband & I can't believe how much of a weight difference there is in the two models! The Air is so much lighter & the camera is much clearer, which is really nice when Skyping & Facetiming with family & friends. After seeing all the benefits of the iPad, my mom just recently bought one too! We love it!

New iPad Air much lighter and more comfortable to hold and use than previous versions. Easy to use, fast, easy set up.

I like this tablet. I'm not a huge Apple fan either. It's pretty user friendly. And the size and weight are ideal.

I like the camera and the weight. It is also very user friendly. I think the price is a little high but that's Apple. The battery life is also nice since we travel. The only negative I have to say about it is the finger smudges left on the screen after using it. Apple should have provided some kind of cleaning cloth with the purchase.

The iPad Air is easy to use. I like that I can slide it into my purse without taking up much space. And it is super light.

Much better speed and camera than prior models. Also excellent battery life and picture for movies, Netflix etc

Just replaced my iPad 2 with this. Absolutely love the screen - it's razor sharp and just beautiful. Also like how much lighter it feels. Nice and fast, and buttery smooth when I use it. Can't find anything I don't like about it except I wish I could change the keyboard layout - I wish Apple would give us more options here.

I replaced my Ipad 2 for the Ipad Air. It is a beauty! Lighter weight, smaller print yet same size screen with retina display. Fast processor, battery lasts at least 10 hours. It is protected with full cover and screen protector. No scratches Very easy to operate Replaces computer, scanner, camera, music player, gps

I have owned 3 iPads over the years and this one tops them all. It's extremely light and easy to hold. Blazing fast and a beautiful screen to look at. Battery life is also excellent!! I used to be anti Apple, but after owning numerous products from them I am now a believer!! Quality sturdy made great running products!

I bought this as a gift for my parents for Christmas . They've been wanting one so that when they travel, it would be easier to bring vs a laptop. They love it because it's easier to read/see vs the iPhone. They've been able to adjust to using it w/o any difficulty since they already have an iPhone so the functions are very similar. They like the slim look and the light weight. They are very happy with their new iPad.

My in-laws are technologically challenged, for lack of better words. I purchased the iPad for their Christmas gift, set it up and then shipped out to them. I was able to walk them through using the iPad and explain the basics to them. This iPad is faster and lighter than previous versions. I highly recommend all Apple products for those who are technologically challenged because of it's easy to use interface.

It's thin, light, and fast, but should have gotten more memory. Handy and easy to take with.

Love the new I-pad air, I upgraded from the original I-Pad. This is so light, fast and clear!

This was purchased as a second ipad for home use, it is quite a bit lighter and more compact than the ipad4 we already own, and the functionality is excellent. Upgraded camera is nice, the product does everything we need flawlessly including streaming Xfinity broadcasts. The price match deal made this irresistible. Nice to be able to buy a smart case for this ipad, no longer made for the earlier models.

I've owned Apple's iPod, iPod Touch, and iPhones...all early generation products that worked great. Always been "late to the dance", so to speak, with the latest & best, though.. No iMac, no iPad, no iPadAir... 'til now. Wonder why I waited! Great tablet! Of course, the weight hits it out of the park. I was happy with Nexus 7. Great for the price...but it wasn't an Air. FINALLY! Easy to see why it's the best!

This iPad is so easy to use and is a great tablet,. Lightweight, fast and looks good.

My husband surprised me with the new iPad Air for Christmas this year. I always wanted an iPad, but there always seemed to be something else that took priority. So he was a great Santa and made my wish come true. I thought it would be fun just for games - but reading books on it is phenomenal! I've already told him next year I want iTunes gift cards so I can download more books. We're also thinking of getting iPad Minis for the kids - so they stop asking for my iPad! If you're thinking of getting one - don't delay. You won't regret the purchase!! (Review written on my iPad while relaxing on the couch - ain't technology grand?!)

I have been anti-apple for a while, as I believe Apple's products are way over priced. Over the years I have been a Droid fan, and most recently a Windows fan. As I have had multiple "gadgets", I realize Droid is a little glitchy and Windows is "GREAT" but lacking in the app area. I am a new small business owner and needed something that was portable to design, and keep track of my sales while on the go. Droid would work for this but Adobe products are more compatible with Apple plus I am learning that just about every app that is designed, ends up on the Apple platform first anyway, so brings me to i-pad air. I bought a Surface 3 thinking this would work. It didn't so I returned it and settled on the i-pad air. The air still upgrades to the latest software and does everything I need it to do. It runs Adobe apps seamlessly and also runs Square which allows me to accept credit cards on the go. Perfect work partner! I would recommend an i-pad to anyone who is trying to run a business on the go and with a slim budget. With my i-pad and my Microsoft phone, I have the best of both worlds!

I will not get into a lot of technical details about this iPad itself but I can say that this is the best iPad to date. Is super light (even with the cover), the retina display looks great, especially now with the thinner bezels. Is fast and fluid and the battery life Is great.

This replaced a iPad 2 for my mother. It's lighter, faster, easier to see and more responsive. She loves it and the Facetime camera is great. Very clear, sharp picture.
