Most people already know that the Apple iPad is a great product, in fact a market leader. Apple has taken a great product and made it even better by reducing the width, depth, and weight, while increasing processing power and battery life. With my 3rd generation iPad I often felt strained holding the device for long periods of time while watching Netflix. With the new iPad Air, the reduced size and weight of the device has allowed me to hold it longer with less strain. And as always, the simplicity and user friendliness of the iOS software speaks for itself. A user can simply pickup and start using -- it is very intuitive. Lastly, Apple uses nothing but the best of materials for their products, and just in case you run into a problem, Apple has great customer service and warranty policies to assist you. The only negative thing that I could list is the price. Apple isn't known for cheap products, but you get what you pay for, in my opinion.

Recently I found myself traveling for work more and realized the benefit of having a tablet. when it comes to phones, I am more of an android guy and for a while debated which OS I should go with. We already had an IPad 2 and had been pretty reliable. In fact it's still going. After taking into consideration what I was going to do with the tablet (check email, video chat with family, and stream movies) and seeing this model on sale, it was a pretty clear choice. I was able to easily import my contacts and calendar from my gmail account with no problem. Any apps I purchased on my old iPad trasfered over as well. Screen is clear, the sound is better, and battery lasts me days. (Varies on usage.) This IPad so far has met my needs perfectly.

Had the original IPad so this was definitely a huge improvement. So light and really fast. Works very well and no longer ger irritated waiting for apps to open. An amazing improvement. Love the lightness ounces vs pounds. Had purchased lots of apps, music and movies on Apple and did not want to lose them so choosing a different tabletwas not an option. This was an excellent choice.

The iPad air is light weight. It is easy for kids to use and has a great camera.

This is th best ipad yet. Its smaller, slimmer and alot lighter than other ipads. The battery along time. This product is worth its price. Its very user friendly. I highly recommend this product. Another plus is that I can use it for hours and it never gets hot.

I had an iPad 3 which I used less and less when I got an iPad mini. I happily gifted it to my nephew and family for their use. Their toddler loves it, too. The iPad mini is great but I did miss the much larger screen and Retina display for viewing my photos but not for anything else like reading. The iPad 3 got too heavy for reading for me because I will start a novel with the goal of finishing it hours later. The decrease in weight for the iPad Air is truly impressive and the speed of its processor is mind boggling. The Retina display is really great. I did not go for the iPad mini/Retina because I will be keeping my original iPad mini. Two iPads the same size, one with better features than the other, means one of them will not ever get used. The iPad Air is different enough that both find their uses in my life. It may even replace my 4 year old 11" Macbook Air. Color me extremely fortunate.

Took me forever to finally get the iPad of my dreams, or so I thought *(I'll explain later). The iPad Air was a Christmas gift from my wife, and fortunately Best Buy lowered the price on Black Friday so she was able to grab it for me. I am a photographer, and I wanted an iPad to showcase my images in the capacity it deserves. With the light weight iPad Air, I can show off images to my clients and future clients with the best imagery at hand. It's more of a digital portfolio to say the least. Back to my comment of it not being what I dreamt of. It surpasses my expectations so much so that I may need to get a higher capacity version. This being my first iPad, we got the 16 gig version, and I'm loading it up pretty quickly. But none the less, it's an Apple product, and yes, it was designed to please with ease of use. I have now included it in the apple product Eco system. Great investment.

Finally got a tablet after researching a few! Samsung has a great tablet but since I use an iPhone this was best for me to keep things streamlined across the devices. I used to have to drag out my laptop for everything Internet or productivity ... NO longer! This little helper is much more portable! I can't believe it took me so long to get on board ... Excellent product!

This is such a useful product. I use it for everything. Great for school and and simple web browsing. You can feel just how light it is from the moment you pick it up. Making it very mobile. With the A7 processor, it makes possible to do many tasks and still maintain great processing speed. With the Retina display, it makes everything you look at just look sharp and great. Pictures just look beautiful. Since now it uses two instead of one antenna and MIMO technology, you can twice the wi-fi performance. Thus making wi-fi speeds faster. You are also able to shop the App Store, the largest app market. Making it easy and possible to find just about any kind of app you are looking for.

Thin, light, fits in my purse! Great battery life and performance overall.

Got our first Ipad this year and so far it has not disappointed at all...since we are already iPhone 6 users getting the hang of the Ipad was a piece of cake. Very well built and user friendly...the processor speed is fast and it is extremely useful....would recommend to anyone who needs to be online but not necessarily needing the features and bulkiness of a laptop.

I bought this for my wife as a Christmas present (mainly because she had asked for one). Best Buy had it for a good price, so I too a flyer on it. My wife is thrilled with it! She feels smartphones are too small and laptops too cumbersome, so she loves the size and weight. And being an Apple product, there are lots of apps that she loves. A GREAT GIFT!!

Large screen that fits my needs. Light and easy to carry around. Camera takes awesome pictures and videos. Love Apple products. Only issue I have is there is no USB. Not a deal breaker though.

The new iPad is lighter, clearer and much faster than our previous iPad.

The size of the ipad is perfect for use on the go. The screen resolution is awesome. The ipad air takes excellent photos and it makes it so easy to share the photos with family and friends. The air pad has great speed. It is very easy to use.
