Bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas. She loves it!

I like the I PAd air. It's the first tablet I have owned.

Dont like the navigation system at all still prefer windows based navigation i guess. Once u are in something there is only one way out... you cannot go back which stinks. Not just that but seems like i have to pay for eveything i want to try. That stinks too!!

I will use it but a laptop fits my needs far better.

The prices on the IPAD Air was very good for a 32gig system, but the functionality is not too much better than the IPAD-2. Apps load extremely slow as well. I would not spend the money again for an upgrade.

I love my iPad. I find that I use it more than my laptop these days. The apps are great and the processing speed is fast plus there is plenty of storage. I have a 90 minute commute for work and travel quite a bit and my iPad goes everywhere with me. It's great for publications, books, movies and even work documents and email. I recommend getting a good case and if you want to use it like a laptop get a keyboard.

the kids and i had fun until the ipad started to act up and we lost everything we were unable to upload even when it said it had updated and the kids lost their games.

When I learn the ins & outs, it will be great. I'm learning but it all takes time. BestBuy needs more personnel to instruct buyers.

Good Ipad, but needs mouse to be truly effective to remote in to pc for business. Apple needs to get this right.

I bought this ipad air for my son, he is two years old and he seem to like his aps on it, i haven't used much.

Needed flashplayer for deaf to relay video,no phone connection from others who has no ipod phone.

I don't need it because I have an Iphone with unlimiteed data. Too big for me. I don't use it.

Didn't like the text was always in capital letters and always having to put in passwords.

There are many other tablets. Also, made by Apple, but... iPad Air is all you need for everyday use. If you have other Apple products like MacBook, iPhone synchronize them. You can use your tablet as a phone, video phone, dictaphone, you name it. Battery hold is great. Personally I have both IOS (iPad & iPhone) and Android tablets. Android is fine, but not even close to IOS as a simple user frendly device. You need less than hour to feel comfortable using it.

iPad are great gift for family members. You know they will love it

As someone who's used plenty of Android devices, it's only been the release of iOS 7 and the iPhone 5S and iPad Air that's really made me want to switch over. And now that I have, I'm very happy to have done so! The Air is very powerful - handling anything I throw at it with ease. I find myself using it SO MUCH. Apps open quickly, transitions and animations are smooth and quick. The display is beautiful and videos look fantastic. I wish the aspect ratio was different when watching TV shows/Movies, but it is nice to have this 4:3 form factor when browsing the internet and using most apps, especially in a 10" tablet. I still use the Nexus 7 as a smaller tablet, and that aspect ratio allows for widescreen video without black bars on top and bottom, but for a larger tablet, 16:10 is a little too tall and skinny and looks/feels weird when held in portrait orientation. The build on this thing is amazing!! It's so thin and light, while still being made of solid feeling aluminum. The only weirdness I find with the air is that the display almost feels like plastic when tapping on it. I think Apple made the glass thinner to shave down the design, but going from my iPhone/Nexus 7 to the Air, tapping on the screen feels a little less solid. Once you get used to it, it doesn't really make any difference in usage or enjoyment of the device. The speakers are great. They sound awesome. I would have liked Apple to take a page from the Nexus 7 playbook and have featured dual speakers so sound wouldn't just be coming out of one side in landscape orientation - if they included front-facing speakers like the Nexus 10 or HTC One, even better - but it's a very minor gripe and I've had no problem using the speakers as they are. Battery life is great. No problems at all there. I charge the thing while I'm sleeping every couple nights and wake up with the battery at 100% and ready to go another couple days. And this is with heavy use. These iOS devices use remarkably little power when standing by. Coming from mostly Android devices, I'm used to having to charge them every couple days even without using them.
