Customers value the iPad Air's ease of use, light weight, and screen size. Positive feedback also highlights its excellent battery life and good performance. While some find the price high, a lack of expandable memory and a USB port are also cited as drawbacks.

I have owned the iPad 2 and iPad 3. Both have been wonderful products to use. I noticed when I upgraded to iOS7 on my iPad 3 that the system slowed down and was a bit less responsive. For this reason I decided to upgrade to the iPad Air. Wow! I am impressed that they made such a beautiful product even more beautiful. I was one of those people that couldn't stand using my iPad in bed because the weight of it was a bit cumbersome. To the point where I decided I needed a separate e-reader tablet to accomplish the things I wanted to do from a laziness stand point. The responsiveness with the new A7+M7 coprocessor shows an extremely noticeable difference from the iPad 3. The dimensions and light weight of the iPad Air is a joy to read from bed and anywhere else I happen to want to take it. It definitely doesn't feel cumbersome. I can hold it in one hand very comfortably. And the smaller form factor makes it easy to drop in my backpack without weighing me down. The wifi responsiveness is also impressive. Web pages load extremely fast with my cable internet wifi connection. The only thing I don't like about this unit is that I have to purchase a case to protect it that sort of defeats the purpose of having a lighter tablet. I'm also a bit disappointed they didn't have the fingerprint sensor...but that may have been necessary to keep the form factor on the skinnier side. Well worth the trade-off. Sigh...first world challenges.

I purchased an iPad Air as an upgrade for my parents' iPad 2. No brainer with holiday pricing: better resolution, lighter, and quicker.

Thinner, lighter, feels like a iPad mini!

The new iPad Air is the best iPad yet. It's so thin and light it feels like you're holding the smaller iPad mini. There's still nothing else on the market that compares the iOS in terms of stability, features, ease of use, app selection and more. And Apple's build quality is far above anything else in the tablet space.

I would not recommend any other tablet besides an iPad, it has everything you need: great screen, solid design, great battery life, excellent app store.

Got one when it was on sale for $370. Nice screen as everyone already knows, camera good enough for tablet. Came with iOS 8.0, updated to 8.1.2 without any trouble. 32GB is barely enough space, though, would have preferred 64GB.

Having already purchased an iPad mini a few years ago, the iPad Air is a larger version that has the ability to push the limits of a laptop. Video streaming is excellent, and this is primarily a consumption tool, rather than production, but Apple's OS allows you to do whatever you can imagine. It is everything you would expect from an Apple product.

Got this during the holidays. The ipad air 2 is nice but there is really nothing out there to take advantage of the extra horsepower yet. It's light, fast and the battery life is great. Highly recommended.

I got it on Black Friday Sale for my brother as a gift. I tried it first and was really impressed. Compared with my Kindle Fire HD 7, The iPad has a way better display and can run those top notch 3d games very well. It also has a way better user interface and app store. I want to get one for myself now..

I replaced 2 Ipad 2 with 2 ipad airs. Incredible speed difference. The price was reasonable after the price drop from the Air 2 coming out. I normally stay to the android side of things with my purchases, but most of the educational apps I need for home school are only available on iTunes.

Certainly not an early adapter, I finally purchased my IPad to replace my laptop for web surfing and haven't put it down since. While it may have some limitations of a laptop, I love it!

I was a little skeptical about buy this new iPad. However, this is one of my favorite pieces of tech that I own. I use it daily, and is highly portable and light. I love to take notes on it, and I take it everywhere I go.

Bought this to replace an iPad 2 generation. Almost went with the current version of the iPad air ... but the bump in storage space ... I went with the previous year ... still a HUGE increase in speed.

The iPad Air is a very refined product at this point. Apple has done a phenomenal job with the battery life. I charge it *maybe* once per week and I use it every evening when watching TV.
My only gripe with the tablet is the low RAM. Having more than 2 tabs (sometimes even more than 1) open in Safari causes them to re-load. It can be very frustrating. Safari, in general, could be much faster on the iPad.
