I had an iPad 2, so this was a great upgrade. The high resolution screen is awesome and the device is very fast. The selling point is the fact that it is very light and thin. With the reduced bezel, it even seems like a mini (only with the screen size of a regular size iPad).

This I-pad is the best. It is very fast, thin and very easy to use. I had an older I-pad and this is far superior over the old I-pad. It is a good value for the service it offers and the things you can do with it. I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a small pad to do the same things a larger lap top can do. It is easy to use while traveling and keep in touch with the world.

This ipad is great for just anyone. i really like the picture quality because i take a lot of pictures with it and love the new operating system. good battery life too. perfect when watching movies. its lighter than before so thats really comfortable when carrying it around. pricy though....

This is a nice tablet. I traded in my iPad2 for the Air and the size makes a difference. Lighter and a bit smaller makes it easier to carry.

I upgraded from an iPad 2 and the speed and screen resolution are great. Device and software continue to meet expectations.

For me this is the most fun iPad yet. The retinal display is awesome, the weight is vastly improved over previous iPads and the rounded corners and thinness make it much more portable and easier to hold while reading. It's lightning fast and it charges much faster than previous iPads. This is my third iPad and I love it!

Apple announced the iPad Air, it was lighter, faster and better than the prior edition. Although I was moving up from an iPad Mini, the screen gamut was the main reason why I made the jump. The screen is brilliant. I mean, 100% brilliant in all ways - turn down the brightness (if not on auto) if you're going to read anything at night. But the problem with it is that the entry price for the 64GB is sorta high. And worse, you'll need that extra space if you're a moderate to heavy user. I'm a graphic designer/programmer by trade, so the typical apps like Procreate, Penultimate, Evernote, Autodesk SketchBook Pro all look and work great. But once you start saving locally (to the iPad) those files, they start filling it up quickly. Luckily you can sync to your desktop, pull those files down and then back it up or store in the cloud. Otherwise, the screen (brighter, better color clarity than the iPad Mini by far) is worth it. And the weight is just great. Around 1lb for a tablet that used to way 1.5lbs+ can alter where and how you use it.

I had an original non-upgradeable iPad and wondered if it was worth it to upgrade sooner rather than later. I can say that this new iPad Air is much faster and more versitile, the display is much clearer and more detailed, it's very light and much easier to use. I'm very happy with this new iPad.

I have been waiting for a long time to get my iPad, I waited for the iPad air to be released and was hoping for a sale around Christmas time, my patience paid off. I can't say enough good about the iPad air, I am still discovering all the features it has available. The camera works great, I like the voice command feature, just ask it a question and it can give you whatever app you want found, the weather report, movie times, and the list goes on, I have only scratched the surface of it's capabilities. There are almost no limit to the number of apps available, many of which are free. I love my Macbook Pro but this is so much easier to carry around and many of the same capabilities. I will be getting a keypad case after I research the ones that are available but for now it is a great piece of technology without the external keyboard. I am very satisfied so far, battery life is excellent, can't wait to see what other things it can do. Apple products are not cheap, but you get what you pay for, a well thought out product that works well.

Love this update to the iPad. The overall dimensions are smaller, it is thinner, and much lighter than my 3rd gen iPad, making it much more comfortable to hold. It is also noticeably faster than the older equipment. The cameras also seem to take much better pictures and video. Great upgrade overall.

Purchased new iPad Air to replace my wife's hand-me-down iPad. She loves it, faster, lighter, crisp clear screen, more storage and very stable. Super easy to migrate from old to new iPad, had her up and running in no time. As always, high quality Apple product, worth every penny.

This is my first tablet however I have used another brand in the past. The Apple format is much easier to use in my opinion. I needed something portable for surfing the internet and watching instructional videos on youtube. The ipad is perfect! So far no problems with battery life at all even while playing an HD game on it.

Love this IPad. Great battery life, the size is perfect, and it's featherlight! I have always had great success with Apple products. So easy to navigate and enjoy the great apps. Protect the investment though with a protective case! There are so many to choose from at Best Buy

I went from the very 1st Gen model to this new model and am blown away. It's so fast and sleek it's a huge improvement for my upgrade. I recently bought the popular Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and thought it was the perfect size only realizing I hatted always having to pinch and zoom on everything I looked at. My new iPad size is so great and the screen quality is just amazing! One of the biggest reason I came back to the iPad after trying out the Tab Pro was that I really missed the App Store. I totally recommend this iPad as it has everthing you will need in a tablet. There is no comparison. Yes others have better screens and many other related options, but this has one of the best lasting batteries and the infamous App Store.

I bought this iPad for school and it is perfect! So many apps available and 64 GB is plenty. The screen is the right size and it's so light that it hardly weighs my backpack down. Its the perfect all in one tablet.

If you're an iOS fan you'll certainly love this new generation of iPad. The battery life continues to get better and it's the sleekest design to date. Now with iOS 7 and the 64 bit A7 processor this tablet flies and will accomplish things you never expected from a tablet. If you're an android user this may be the time to take a look at Apple again. When I compared to the Note and other high-end tablets and the iPad Air really shines. From the screen colors to the responsiveness and fluid operation, you'll really be impressed. Yes, it's a bit pricey but I've always found that you get what you pay for when it comes to the tech world. My only gripe is that it feels a little less sturdy than previous generations but that could simply be because they've gotten this thing so thin and light that there's no place left to go.

It's light, it's fast. The clarity is great. Purchased this to replace an older one, very happy with purchase.
