Very fast, great resolution, featherlight, and dependable I use it daily and the performance is excellent. The many apps available enhance the tablet. The touchscreen is very responsive. This is my second iPad and I am very pleased.

The iPad air is lightweight, quite fast and easy to use. It takes good quality photos (except in low light, but that's expected) and good videos. I haven't put too many applications in so I cannot comment on that. Siri works great.

With this device it comes down to whether or not you like i-Pads. It's not revolutionary, just a little lighter, thinner, faster, with a better this or that. If i-pads are not your thing, this isn't going to change your mind. It's just one more reasonably sized evolutionary step for the device (the i-phone 5s actually has several features i-Pad doesn't). If you love i-Pads, then you'll probably want this one. It must be said however, that if you have the version that came right before, you might want to wait for the next thing. It's an i-Pad. It does what i-Pads do--very well too. But only a little revolution here.

Very fast compared to older Ipad versions. Smaller and lighter actually made better for travel. New screen options including Siri and great. Picture quality of screen seems much better too. I would highly recommend this Ipad

Took advantage of Best Buy trade-in program and traded my 64G Ipad 2 towards the Ipad Air. The Ipad air is lighter, faster, and has much improved screen resolution (retina display). I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is my first ipad so can't compare it to the previous versions, but as an ipod touch user, the air screen is so clear, and the processor is fast. I also find the weight is nothing with having a larger viewing space.

Very Fast, enough memory to store photos and movies, a bit heavier than expected but chose air 1 instead of air2 because of price and the reviews. iPad air is definitely solid and love battery time about 12 hrs!!!

Bought this as a birthday gift for a family member. Everything about it is awesome! Quick & easy to use. Size & weight are perfect. Battery life is much better than expected. I would highly recommend this to everyone!

This is my fourth iPad of owning/working with (since the first gen to the first with the retina display). I love it. It's an awesome upgrade. It's thin with the same size display. The thinner sides make it easier for more one hand operations that can be done with just the thumb. It still heats up a bit when you use graphic intensive apps, but it keeps way cooler than the previous generations. There's more than enough space for me in the 64 GB version (music recording/composing, photo/video editing, heavy graphic-intensive gaming, finance management, document edits). However, with every free floating tablet, I definitely recommend a case with a keyboard attachment. It'll make editing, moving, presenting, and playing much more enjoyable!

Very nice equipment to be used daily and user friendly. Faster then the previews and better size.

I've had iPhones for a few years now and finally broke down and bought an iPad because a program I need for work will only run on windows or an iPad (or iPhone but that is way too small of a screen to accomplish much). It was easy to set up and works fine for my work program and great for all the fun things I wanted it for.

The iPad is, by many counts, the best overall tablet out there, and if you can afford to pay the premium for a 64GB (or above), then using the tablet will be a very joyous and issue-free experience. It certainly has been for me. The screen quality is top-notch with vibrant colors and clarity, and everything from pictures to movies to even menus look beautifully detailed. It's very responsive to touch, and does a great job with deciphering between certain types of taps. With the right apps, it can replace a lot of what a PC can do, but keep in mind that it doesn't have all of the features to be a full replacement yet, for those who are thinking about using this versus a laptop. There's no doubt you can be productive on the iPad (ex. Word documents, data sheets, etc.), but just know that you'll run into a lot of very small nuances that you can only find on a laptop. The whole tablet itself is so delicate and luxurious. The feel is so great, I had the need to really protect my investment by getting an OtterBox case along with it as well. This may not sit well with people who are not fans of tablet cases, but, for me, I wasn't ready to completely smear and keep my iPad bare, so I got a very sturdy protective case to make using this the perfect peace-of-mind tablet experience.

For a long time, I was amazed with my iPod touch. Life changing, very portable, but also a tiny screen. Eventually the amazement faded and I simply depend on it throughout my day. My iPad 2 was also useful but much harder to carry around so it was used mostly in the house. Functionally identical to my iPod touch in many ways but with a wonderfully larger screen. So it is a choice of portable and small versus bulky and large screen. Both have their place. The iPad Air is an evolution of the iPad 2. It is slightly smaller, lighter, and a lot faster. The screen resolution is a big improvement. But with that feeling of magic now faded, all I can say is that the iPad Air is useful. But is that so bad?

The ipad is amazing. When the iPads originally came out I thought they were a huge gimmick. I remember seeing a photo of 4 3GS' taped together in square, implying the ipad was nothing more than just a larger screen. I thought this was the case. However, after visiting family (who all had iPads) last month, my feelings completely changed. I fell in love with the ipad. The screen resolution is beautiful and every website works on it (unlike the iphone which can be very finicky). I much prefer using my lightweight ipad to browse the internet rather than my cumbersome laptop. It's fun and very entertaining with the vast array of apps. I recommend this device to even the most skeptic.

I finally can hold a full size ipad in one hand to allow browsing without a case or a stand it's like using my phone but a tAblet with improved speed and cheaper price for 64 gb of space.

The graphics and speed are more than I could have hoped. I use this iPad for a lot of things. It is very easy to operate and the battery life is much improved over past generations.

Smaller, lighter and better display than the previous iPad. It works great, is fast and has clear, bright display. I haven't considered another tablet yet. I just wish they cost less!

Overall, I'm really happy with my Ipad Air. Feels great in my hands. Light, easy to carry. I use this as my primary "laptop" because my regular laptop is 17 inches and weighs a ton. It's nice to have something so portable that I can take to my professional job and graduate school. The only draw back is that the system has frozen on me a couple of times and I had to hit the power button and let it sit frozen for a while until it shut off. If it keeps doing that I may have to return it. Also, there's always a bit of a bummer that Apple doesn't allow more PC type functions like some of the other tablets coming out. I hope this changes down the road.

i basically use this for searching and games. easy to set up and love how light it is and the speed is great and the touch screen works awesome. easy to set up block so kids not downloading anything. love how fast it is to load new apps on here and the speed of loading games and apps.

This is my 3rd iPad. I just replaced a 1st gen iPad before there was no value. I have had no issues with this iPad and it does everything that I need it to do. Had a refurbished iPad been available from Apple, I would have purchased it since it would have been a better value.
