I bought the iPad Air to replace my Ipad 2. Love the super fast processor, improved camera, and having extra storage. It is quick, light weight, and was a breeze to set up from home. I set up my AT&T data plan from home too without any problems. I would highly recommend and would buy again if I needed to.

Needed to upgrade from a 16gb iPad, to one with more gb's. I liked the size of the iPad mini, but the screen is just to small. The iPad Air 64 gb is just right. The size is smaller than the regular iPad, but the screen size is the same, and it's a lot lighter in weight. Easier to carry in my purse. I would definitely recommend this item.

I had to replace my 4th Gen iPad because it died. Two years old and it just died. This is not typical of iPads and I tried not to hold this failure against them all. I found it difficult to not have an iPad, so I purchased an iPad Air (didn't have the money for an Air 2 because I had just bought one for my husband for Christmas). I am very happy with my iPad Air. It is quick, works well and is smaller than my 4th Gen. I was disappointed that the Air didn't fit my old Kensington Keyboard Cover, but was able to find one on Amazon for a reasonable price. I also bought Apple Care. It added quite a bit to the price, but my experience with the 4th Gen convinced me it is worth the price.

Ipad Air is a fantastic tool to perform most of the functions of a laptop, in an easy to carry handheld device. Great graphics, endless selection of applications from games to photographic to business to entertainment. Can set up easily to use anywhere as small TV with my home cable info, can be used to operate home systems from one place. Easy to use, performs multiple functions at once, you can multi-task to your heart's content. I use the camera rarely, but the two cameras are great if you need them. Screen size allows easy photo editing that presents problems in a phone screen. Can be easily synched to include all your phone apps, your contacts, emails, bookmarks, photos and music lists.

I got this when bestbuy is having this on sale for $499. I also get a 10% coupon from local post office. It's a great product at this price. Much faster and lighter than my IPad3.

The price was a big deterent but once you can overcome that you're in for a full iPad experience. Even better than the previous versions I used is the better display, smaller size & lighter weight. The battery appears to last longer and the ever Apple Store is also a big advantage. It's also very kids friendly. On the down side is the quality of the saved photos and the malleable aluminium body which can actually bend into a curve if you put too much weight on it. Overall, I think it's a great product for its generation.

Although not a game changer like the original iPad, which created a whole new product category, the iPad Air is simply the best iPad I have ever had. And I own or have had iPad 1, iPad 2, iPad 3, the original iPad mini, and an iPad mini with retina screen. The Air is light and thin enough that except for those times when I literally want to put an iPad in my coat pocket, I would rather have the larger screen and full color gamut of the Air than then reduced screen and more limited color gamut of the iPad mini with retina screen. Moreover, it is so much faster, lighter, and thinner than prior full-size iPads. Lastly, the bezel is thinner on the sides as well. All of which makes for about as much of a home run as possible short of the original's creating the tablet product market. Apple simply knocked it out of the park with this one. On a related note, new leather smart cases are also a hit. Good quality leather and fit like a glove that doesn't add much bulk to the form factor, a marked improvement on both counts from prior Apple cases. So much so that I haven't even thought about third party cases this time. In sum, Apple, there is in substitute (at least for tablets).

iPad Air is a great product. The size, weight and functionality differences between it and the more expensive iPad Air2 are not nough for me to spend the higher amount. I am delighted that I chose the iPad Air over the iPad Air2. Ordering and delivery from Best Buy was easy and efficient.

I was forced to get this for work and was a little excited to see what all the hype is about. it's okay, but no calculator installed? I found several in the app store, but so far all come with adds. my son's galaxy tab has an infrared sensor so you can control the t.v. with it. we use that all the time for a remote. no additional storage. the keyboard always displays capital letters, even when typing lower case. no way to type a number by holding a key down, must go to number page and then back to letters to resume typing. since Samsung copied apple I, expected the ipad to have more features, especially since it is so much more expensive. it is okay, but not sure why it is so popular.

I made the mistake of upgrading to System 8.1 on my old iPad, which slowed it down to the point of annoyance. So glad I bought the iPad Air. The retina display is awesome & it's so much faster!

I bought this iPad Air as a backup to my older iPad. It is thinner, lighter and the A7 chip with M7 motion coprocessor is very fast. Love it.

    Terrific new iPad Air

This an upgrade to an iPad 2 I have been using for over 2 years. The new iPad Air is quite a bit smaller in every dimension except screen size which is still the same! The edges are a little squarer (vs the rounded, tapered edges previously) making it easier to hold. The screen resolution is phenomenal. I dropped the slider down to good only because it seems some of the colors are a hair over-saturated, and there's no real way to adjust. With that said, the screen is beautiful. Everything happens a bit faster to the naked eye with the new processors. Nice upgrade, there. Apple now includes several of its productivity Apps with new iOS 7 devices, and this helps to sweeten the value a little. Numbers, Pages, Keynote, iMovie, GarageBand, and iPhoto are the main extra apps included. Still, premiums for stepping up to more internal memory seems excessive, but nothing outside of the pricing models Apple first introduced with the original iPad. Overall, it's still an iPad, but the extra speed, smaller frame, and super sharp screen make this a terrific tablet I keep around with me most of the day!

You can't go wrong buying this unbelievable piece of technology! Compared to the other tablets, this iPad air really rocks! It's lightweight, easy to use and has superfast processing speed. Even at full retail, it's a great purchase! However, it's always good to wait for a Best Buy special sale!

I have been considering purchasing a tablet for quite a while, and having used Apple products I was most focused on the iPad. I reviewed various other competitors, but ultimately decided on the iPad. It has meshed very nicely with my iPhone, and that familiarity has helped speed up my learning curve. I find myself using it more than my Laptop, and I may next purchase a separate keyboard to become even more an iPad fan. Enjoy!
