Smaller size better convenience

At first I didn't think I would like it but once my son got to using it more, we realized that the smaller version made it more convenient to carry around with us, when we're out, and store in my purse when being used. I'm satisfied with our purchase.

Bought it mostly for our kids to play music and games, and take with them on trips

Best tablet out right now

All of my tablets have been android OS's but I was able to get a good deal on this iPad mini Retina for my daughter and I have to admit, I am very impressed. The old saying is that Apple products just work and it is so true. It may not be as customizable as an android tablet but the fact that everything is so smooth and free of glitches more than makes up for that. The apps from the appstore are truly tablet apps (many apps for android tablets are just blown up phone apps although they are getting better about that). The games are great! Much more variety than android. This may make me possibly switch to an iPad when I'm looking for my next tablet. Extremely recommended.
