I had a regular sized ipad and it was awkward to hold. This one is great: easy to hold and large enough to feel more like you are using a laptop.

I'm very happy with my ipad mini. it is very portable, small enough to carry everywhere but big enough to read and review work related files.

The iPad mini fits perfect into my white coat pocket and is great for me to have access to medical review books and pharmacology applications. It beats carrying around tons of books to the clinic everyday!

I was waiting for the iPad mini for the retina display. Got it a month back and I'm glad I waited. Quality is great just like the iPhone. Easier to handle than the iPad. Happy with my purchase!

Great for everyday surfing the Internet. Some online gaming. Checking emails. Not recommended if you are going to download a lot of stuff.

Great screen resolution and easy to use. Portability is optimum. Battery life more than adequate. Upgraded from regular IPAD Mini to Retina Display based on latter having a much clearer display.

I bought this iPad as a gift for a friend who was going in the hospital. The setup was remarkably easy. It has the most beautiful screen of any tablet I've ever seen. My friend uses it to communicate with his wife who likes to show the garden to him while he's in the hospital having a bone marrow transplant… it's really helped them to stay in touch with each other while he's recovering. His wife loves it because she would love to be able to bring him home but she can't so being able to see each other on the screen is the next best thing.

We had the 2nd gen iPad. This one is smaller lighter and less clunky. The retina screen is amazing. Happy with purchase. Highly recommended.

I love my iPad mini so much. It's compact size is perfect for the bedside night table or for my purse when on the go. The screen has perfect clarity and is very easy to use.

Overall very satisfied. Still learning about all it can do. Screen size is not an issue for my weary eyes. Crispness of screen it's great!

Very good product, it seems all apps in the world are designed for iOS and then "adapted" to Android. I exchanged by an iPad mini 3 with touch ID due to a special sale and discovered it's a very very useful feature in the day to day. If you are considering an iPad mini 2, think about it.

Over all it is a great product, it is an Apple plus I really love the retina display. I switched from the iPad 3 to this one because of the size. The up side to doing this is it is very compact and easy to carry around. The downside is the fact that not all programs gives you the option to enlarge the font size, making it very difficult to read for those of us that have difficulty reading small fonts (the iPad does give you this option). Also the volume of the sound could be better. Besides that, I am really glad that I made the switch.

I love the speed of the new chip apple has in this mini. Display is clear and crisp. I got one for each of my kids this year and I'm ready to give them my old ipad2 and use there new minis.

Really a great device the Retina Display Ipad Mini is. Great camera, of course lots of apps. Has taken the place of my laptop on my business trips, can check email, and function very well.

Retina display easily worth an extra 100 over the mini 1, coupled with the better processor and this years 'upgrade re;finger print sensor' you should be set for at least 2 more years.

I was used to the I-Pod so this made it easy for me to use. The pictures I good came out beautifully. The device offers everything I need.

Retina display has excellent resolution, brillant display. Very easy to configure and to synchronize with iPhone. A lot of things to enjoy. Perfect pocket size, nice to travel abroad.

Have numerous ipads and iphones so very familiar with all apple products. This is no difference than the ipads ...just a mini version
