The new ipad mini retina meets all expectations. I replaced a regular sized ipad with it and love how much easier it is to hold and carry. It's especially great when playing games.

Picked this up as a gift. Upgraded from the ipad 2. Works well and had no issues. The size is perfect compared to the larger ipads.

Don't get me wrong, this iPad is amazing and works perfectly how I expected. It's just that you don't get the full 16Gb. You only get about 12gb more or less if I recall. If you're looking to put music and take lots of photos I do not recommend it. In my case I use it for music, web browsing and some apps. I took it back the next day and paid the extra 50 bucks for the the 32gb. This suits me a whole lot better.

for the price the sound is not to bad . a lot better then the tv speakers . easy to set up .smart tv all you do is plug it in

Got it as a replacement for my first generation Ipad and I love all the features this one has, it is a big step up for my 1st gen Ipad

The iPad Mini is great. Dealing with Best Buy to purchase it was horrible. Very frustrating. Multiple trips to the store required. Very poor communication between stores and even between employees at the same store.

Bought for my mom to use for word games and browsing the web. The size of the mini makes it very comfortable for her to hold.

Excellent price, decent screen size nice complement to an iphone (much easier to read, and synchronization with iphone is a plus)

Bought this is a gift for my wife and she's been really happy with it. She had a Nexus 7 before this and never used it, but actually seems to be using her iPad much more -- which is great since it justified the purchase this time around. Really easy to use and holds a charge really well. Very happy with this purchase!

Before buying the Apple I purchased a "much better android based device, 1/2 inch smaller to fit in a back pocket. Sadly the unit was too complicated, worst than that out of the box, it was not working properly. The very worst thing that happened was I thought I was contacting the manufacturer for help. Sadly I had contacted a 3rd party independent pretending to be an agent. He wanted to charge me to fix my network which had nothing wrong with it. I PULLED THE PLUG ON HIM RETURNED THE UNIT AND BOUGHT AN APPLE. i WAS TOLD "AFTER YOU WASTE ENOUGH TIME YOU WILL GET AN APPLE". I LOVE MY APPLE. IN FACT NOW I HAVE TWO. MY BEST TO APPLE

This is the third iPad mini we have bought as gifts for children. They are small and compact but do the job of normal size. Memory isn't huge but it does the job.

The iPad mini 2 is flawless in so many ways. From a rich app catalog to the best design on the market, the mini 2's only real downfall is its price. If your pockets are deep you'll simply love it.But I bought in Thanksgiving so the price only took downfall not your pocket,

I love this Ipad because I can read college e-Books to study and is easier to carry around than four books. Thanks Apple!

Technology is a necessity for rapid development of children separting the winners from the average. My great niece is 6 months old and now she will have an edge on all of her friends. Another Einstein, America's next president. Technology makes everything possible.

I like the compact design and HD clarity screen. It was easy to set up and works seamlessly with our other Apple products.

IPad mini is intuitive and easy to use with lots of apps available. It's reliable and well made. The size is a good compromise between the IPad and a smaller android tablet.

We had a hard time choosing mini vs full size I pad. Decided on mini and it has worked out great. the portability has been perfect. Retina display is awesome to see and use.

Granted there are a lot of things that you can't do in this that you can do in Android, but it is so much more responsive than any Android tablet I have owned and despite being an older model, you are still able to install the latest OS without major loopholes.

I bought this before going on vacation (16GB) and it was great for that, much easier to carry with me than regular iPad. Screen size is good for photos, apps, email. I quickly began to get messages that I was about to run out of storage...guess I should have bought a 32GB. Other than that, I really, really like it.

I'm an Apple person so I knew the iPad was the right choice. The mini is a great size for my young daughter. My only complaint (which isn't a product default but more of something a buyer needs to consider) is that 16gb is not enough space. Pictures, apps, videos...I never thought we'd go thru it all so quickly.
