Great gift for a 10 year old

Good basic iPad

This was her first Apple product and quickly and easily started using it as a laptop replacement for: Web surfing, Email, Gaming, Photo viewing, And communicating with family with messages and FaceTime. The reason for this model was its size. She had difficulty with the size and weight of her laptop and finds the iPad more comfortable and convenient to use.

My son loves his IPad mini 2

He is 8 yrs old so I bought for him for Christmas. Boy did we made his Christmas. He download apps from Apple store. He takes his mini 2 everywhere he goes and likes built in Wi-Fi for internet use. The only drawback it only has 16gb. Constantly remind of space.

He didn't want a nook and we have apple/Mac products at home already so this fit right in. Great for travel!
