This item in itself is great, but the best buy worker who grabbed it for me assumed I wanted the grey even though I was looking at the white version on display. So I had to immediately return once I saw it was not white. I love the one I ended up giving to my husband. I now want to buy one for myself.

I was a little concerned about getting the iPad mini 2 or 4; however, for my daughter it really didn't matter. From what I've heard the battery life on the 2 is actually better, and my daughter likes this device so much better than the Samsung android tablet she had before; mainly because the tablet doesn't suddenly shut down on her, it shows a realistic value for how much battery and time she has left before she has to plug it in.

The iPad mini was a hit when it first came out and the second generation iPad mini lives up to all the expectations. It is a solid tablet with a beautiful display. Let's do some pros and cons about this iPad Pros: -display is "retina display" which has higher pixel density than its predecessor -Battery life is amazing. I went without charging this unit for 5 days with casual use. -The standby hours on this tablet is great. With android tablets I found that the battery drains even when not in use - App Store has a large variety of apps - the form factor is very pleasing to the eyes and touch - apps don't crash nearly as much Cons -keyboard does not have the numbers on the same touch keyboard as the letters -selecting text isn't as flexible as with android tablets. You have to select the whole word here -price is a bit high -no expandable memory slot for micro sd All in all this is a magnificent tablet. You won't have to worry about charging the unit as often. The extended battery life really makes it more enjoyable. You are not tethered to the wall like many other tablets. Right now it's the iPad mini model that is in between the new and the old. It is better than the first gen iPad mini and has specs decent enough to buy vs the 3rd gen iPad mini. Would I recommend this tablet to someone else? -Yes, I definitely would.

I have been an apple product user for a long time and this tablet is my favorite so far, if you are going to get one you should consider at least 32GB.

I use it all the time for social medias, and entertainment only. But i'm sure it would be just as great for using it for school and work as well.

She switched from using a kindle and loves everything about the mini Ipad. The graphics are superior and she uses the Kindle app to read her books.

As a long time iPad user and lover I have found the utmost delight in switching to the mini. With all the same specs and ability that the traditional has to offer the mini is sure to impress. Plenty of screen size yo view your favorite videos and easily fits in your to go bag. I recommend the mini over its larger brother and sister for the price break and convenient size.

Needed to upgrade from the first iPad made. Purchased the iPad mini and it is great. Only thing is the pictures aren't good when taken far away.
