The original had the great form factor which no one thought would be better than the iPad. But everyone always talked about the subpar screen. With retina and it being the same specs at the big ipad, just in a smaller shell- this should be the default model people should get.

I originally purchased Lenovo tablet solely for the purpose of using it to read owner's manuals that used to be printed, but now are on PDF only. It is a lot cheaper to buy a tablet than it is to have these manuals printed, especially in color. Well, the Lenovo had less than 40 hours of use at home and failed to power up one day. Their warranty stinks, so I bought an iPad Mini when it was on sale. Apple's hardware is SO MUCH better than other companies out there- I should have bought this in the first place but I was trying to save some money- lesson learned- buy what you want the first time and you won't have to buy it "again". I still have an old Powerbook that is almost 20 years old and other than a backup battery replacement, it has worked great all these years. Yes, I'm an Apple snob since Sony is no longer making PC's :) Buy an Apple product, you won't be sorry....

Love this product. Only have good things to say. Would love to have better camera quality.

We bought this for our son who is 22 months old and knows how to use both an ipad and an iPhone. He uses ours and so we needed to get him his own so we could use ours. He now has his own baby apps on it and since it is smaller than the regular it fits better in his little hands.

My wife bought this for me for my birthday and I just bought one for hers. She plays on it every night. It's like a giant iPhone. I also bought a Bluetooth keyboard/cover which I also like. There's nothing to not like about it....besides the price but hey that's Apple for ya!

I use this during interviews to display examples of my work. It is a great tool and toy!

The Apple iPad Mini 2 is a great product and I would definitely recommend it to someone!

Bought for my college student. It has all the necessry programs for her to use at school and easier to carry around instead of a lab top. Is introducing it to her employer so they can use to teach. I also recoomend the IPAd air. Is is light wieght and very easy to handle also.

This mini is a replacement for a full sized iPad.It does a great job and is very handy.

Extremely happy with the mini. Glad I didn't pay the extra 100 for the finger print scan.
