Great device for him to use to do his math and spelling homework. He's reading more now that he can order books online. We both love it.

I got this in the last thanksgiving deal from BestBuy, worked out pretty good having my ipad mini traded off. Excellent experience so far!

For my daughter's 8th bday we purchased her a MacBook Air 11 inch. She loved it and was glued to it. I never thought she would love a gift as much as her computer. Well for her 9th bday she said her one dream gift was an iPad of some sort. So after careful consideration we got her the iPad mini 2 (even though the 3 just came out). She uses it everyday. I thought her computer would go to the wayside. I was so wrong. Both the iPad mini 2 and the MacBook Air have similar programs and such, but they are also different enough that she uses both and doesn't get bored with either one. The iPad mini 2 is what she used for games (both recreational and educational) and taking pictures and making videos. The computer is what she uses for internet searching, writing school reports, watching videos and so on. Each is excellent enough to stand alone; however, I still feel that owning both is not redundant. Sorry for my babbling. I hope my point came across in there somewhere.

Love that it's just the right size for my kids...they make really cute cases for the minis now too...got a great deal around Christmas too

iPad is amazing! Can hold a lot of movies and was great to take on an international trip--battery did not die while watching movies!!

The mini has all the great features of a larger iPad. The portability of the smaller size does not detract from the functions of the tablet.

I have used several other tablets, but the Apple IPAD 2 is by far the best. No hangups, clear, easy to use. Would recommend to all.

An iPad is still the best when it comes to tablets. The latest mini has a faster processor and even better display than the last one which is amazing. There is no lag and everything is beautiful on the screen. I hooked up a Bluetooth keyboard to it and it works like a charm for me.

The ipad mini 2 is very light weight. Can bring it anywhere. Set up and downloads are quick and easy. This was a fantastic purchase!

I really enjoy this iPad it is very easy to deal with as well as durable. My daughter really loves this tablet and its ease of use. This product far surpasses the kindle in all ways besides price. Also the battery lasts a whole day with normal video and game play. Overall a great product with superior battery and user friendly platform.

Bought this iPad for my youngest daughter to FaceTime with our family back home. It's user friendly and the battery life is decent.

Really enjoy my Ipad Mini. I like to sit on the couch and watch TV and play with my Ipad Mini at the same time. I use it for entertainment, not business. I use the Kindle app and read books which I borrow through my public library. It's easy to carry with me, fits in my purse. Take the Ipad Mini to doctor's appointments and play or read while waiting. Love it!

I have a iPad but wanted the mini for size and convenience when traveling. Great decision. I found it affordable in a family budget.
