    We bought two of these for our kids for Christmas. They loved them! They work seemlessly with their Macbook Airs (as they are supposed to do.) My only complaint is with the App Store. It insisted my security question answers were not correct when they were. The account ended up getting locked for security reasons and I needed to call Apple support to unlock it. He asked the same security questions that the App store did and I gave the same answers and we were able to get it unlocked. Again, I don't think it was the fault of the device, just a software glitch or something on Apple's end.
