If your heart is set on having a small iPad go for it. however, if you are buying only one "pad" i would spend a bit more or wait for a sale when the iPad is the same price as the mini. I bought with credit card points thinking I would use this all the time. I still pick up my iPad instead

Software causes problems

The new mini has many of the same problems plus opening weird pages after I have closed everything or the screen goes totally black when trying to open an app.
