Really nice, compact and does the job. I don't like that you can't add a zip for data but it should be fine for travel use.

opened on Christmas day and working with it right away. using to replace standard ipad and size seems to be just fine. were immediately able to log on to iTunes and retrieve info like was on ipad that we lost. many great features and superior reliability with apple like always.

expensive but good tablet, easy to use and understand. I do wish a manual had been included

I was getting really frustrated with my iPad mini 1 and was considering buying a Samsung. Saw the mini 2 on sale and thought I'd give it a try. It's much better than the previous generation! The response is much noticeably better! Glad I gave iPad another chance.

I've enjoyed using the iPad for my study program and viewing educational videos. It's simple to use and rarely has any problems.

Excellent for watching videos and show photos. Screen is really clear with retina display. Having trouble sinking with iphone apps.

This was brand new, not refurbished item. I think I got it at a good price. It was a Xmas gift for my 70 year old Mom.....lol......she has an iPhone. I hope it was not too much of a stretch for her...We did get it set up for her. I hope she enjoys it. No earbuds though :(

Just about the right size for me. Air with a bigger screen would have better for viewing pleasure but fails on the compact size.

I have an iPad 2, but bought this for my spouse so that we weren't sharing anymore (I like my iPad to myself). No fingerprint recognition on this model - I knew that in the store. PRICE was primary reason for choosing this tablet. I seriously overspent on my iPad 2 (bought way more RAM than necessary) and didn't want to make the same mistake. Over all, very please with the purchase, but if I had it to do over again, I'd get the model with fingerprint recognition

I like this product very much. Great to travel with, my favorite reader. Must have a case, it slips out of your hand easily.

It's an Apple product. You either love them or hate them. Works like all other ipads, itouches and iphones. Lots of apps available. Retina display is better than non-retina displays. Since memory is not expandable, you need to know how much you might need, 16? 32? 64?

I bought it for my grandson, who is about to turn 5. He hasn't gotten it yet but I look forward to the educational apps. It will be used under strict supervision but I look forward to see his enjoyment. Of course he'll enjoy the age appropriate games.

My daughter received her I-Pad Mini for Christmas and loves it. Hasn't put it down...Of course, this product is especially handy for those who already use Apple products-the Mini can be synched with IPhone, etc. Great for video games, watching video, music, photos, etc.

if you are half way between choosing ipad mini 3 and ipad mini 2. get ipad mini 2. it is the same thing except finger print scanner.

It is heavier and slower than I expected... I need it for my research. My android tablet is cheaper and faster.

We got this small tablet for our grand daughter for her birthday. She absolutely love it and we are happy that she can use this tablet to help her move into the digital age. She has already discovered a number of learning games and also You Tube.

if all you're going to be doing with this iPad is web surfing and e-mail checks then its a great device to get!
