purchased ipad for myself. just wanted something to watch movies on the go with and easier to take along to boyfriends house.

Absolutely NOT a 2017 model. The identifier numbers on the back date this a 2015 Model instead. Other than mis-statement of product, it works fine and looks like new. Priced too high to be a 2015 Model.

Great minipad for my granddaughter, however, it was stolen within the first week. Didn't even have a chance for her to have the GPS on.

The mini 2 is still an excellent tablet, and a better value at the lower price. As with all Apple products, build quality is excellent.
