I got the mini to replace my iPad2. I have had a lot of problems with downloading everything from the cloud. Apps stop on me. The sound quality is poor. I bought this mini because I wanted something to carry around with me. I will probably go back to the regular iPad.

This pad was part of a promotion for buying an MacBook. It's old but reliable and makes for a great universal remote control.

Ipads are great but this one is 16gb so they were giving them away with the purchase of the Macbook pro to get rid of them.

I'm having problems with this device getting good wifi at my house. I have Apple TV that goes to the same router without any problems

Absolutely love it! I find the size to be just right for use as a reading device and has a function right in between my phone and laptop. It's light and small enough to take anywhere, but it has the same power and resolution as the iPad Air. If you need a tablet for information consumption, not to try to replace a laptop, this works great!

this item I wanted for a while after I got it I thought I could use it everywhere but having some difficulties with it..

with the current iOS update. it's really slow now. probably getting a iPad mini 4 will be a better idea.

I think this iPad needs more space. More storage. 16gb isn't enough.

Over all a good product. Face time time and iCloud does not work on the product. That's about the only flaw.

A decent tablet. Screen size isn't great. Would recommend getting an iPad air by adding some more money.

The only reason that I purchased this Mini was to view design changes to our corporate website on an OS device.

Good, however I prefer My Samsung Tablet, as it has external memory, more photo features,and is easier to use

Experienced some screen freezes. The Mini 4 was a better choice with its features and capabilities

I bought this iPad about 2 years ago. At the time, I got it on sale at Bestbuy and it was a good deal. However, at the current price, it is a great deal. Since I mainly use it at home, WIFI works well for most purposes. I also have an iPhone 6, so when I travel, rather than using hotel WIFI, I use the mobile hotspot from the iPhone for added security. Since I don't use the iPad to store music or photos (I use my MacBook for photos), I find that 16GB is more than sufficient. I recently upgraded to iOS 9, and it works well. This particular iPad does not have the iOS 9 split screen feature however, only slide over, which, honestly, I do not use anyway. Aside from the most used apps of email and Safari, I frequently use Weatherbug, Maps, Google Earth, Zite, and Words with Friends, as well as others, all of which are free in the app store. In summary if you want an iPad that is easy to carry around and works well, at a good price, get the iPad Mini 2.

Wish it was cheaper not worth the money I spent it but the newer ones was even more higher

This is a fine product but slightly overpriced considering it is not the newest edition.

There are some glitches to be worked out but all on all it is ok. Need to have a working camera.

Got this for my girlfriend after purchasing her a kindle fire a few years back and all I can say is she is much happier with the mini 2. Starters the unit is light, just has that quality finishing touch to it. There's plenty of tablet out there with similar specs but none that has the same caliber in quality. Boot up is fairly quick, screen is crisp and clear. Touch screen is smooth and sensitive. Plenty of apps available and the ability to sync to the iphone is a plus for the girlfriend. If you travel a lot or constantly mobile this unit is ideal for it. Regular ipad is just too bulky for it. If you are in the market for a mini don't get the 3, same specs but comes in more color option. Save $100 and get the 2.
