Very fast and super clear screen. WiFi is a good bit faster. Great for personal uses...web...games...etc. It could work for some enterprise issues with special apps, but this is not what I bought it for. If I need real user power, i will use a Mac Air that has a larger screen with a keyboard and not try to confuse the user issues with a product that is trying to be a desktop-tablet. This item is very portable and great for quick personal activities. Good buy! By the way I got a $250 trade-in for an iPAD 3 and was left with about $175 for the upgrade. Also, I got Keynote, Pages and Numbers 64 bit for free and they are very strong for quick moble usage.

I use my iPad constantly. I also have a MacBook Pro, but I find myself reaching for my iPad more often than my Mac. It has a long charge, great resolution, but I do wish I bought the 32gb instead. I can't download more than one movie at a time after I put all of my apps and music on, but it is still enough room to hold all I need at one point in time. I highly recommend this instead of a Kindle Fire. I have used one (my sister owns it) and it doesn't even compare.

It took me awhile to decide between an ipad and an ipad mini. I'm so happy that I went with the ipad mini. It is light weight and fits in one hand easily. My concern had been that web sites would be difficult to read, but that has not been the case. If I want to do a lot on a web site, I go to my lap top, but the ipad mini is great for looking things up quickly without having to bother turning on a computer. It is also a good size for reading ebooks.

For the smaller size this is a really powerful tablet in its class.

I bought this so that I could do work when I'm on the go - nothing major just check emails, write drafts comfortably, etc. It definitely serves it's purpose, it's lightweight so I don't mind carrying it around and is great for conveniently doing work if I'm away for a weekend or on a long train ride. I actually ended up also using it to read my magazines and watch Hulu/iTunes. For movie watching I do slightly regret not getting a bigger screen, but mostly regret not getting more storage. 16GBs is not enough space to store both work AND play so I often find myself deleting apps, movies, or magazines to make room for new ones.

Purchased on 08/31/2016 on sale. I did not open the box until 10/10/16 only to find a defective iPad mini with double vertical lines on the screen. BB would not take it back so I sent it back to Apple. Rec'v by replacement iPad and no charger or cable. Can't give an honest review because I have not had the chance to use it.

I've wanted an iPad mini for a very long time and decided to just get it. Totally worth it, as it was on sale, and since I'm getting reward points (Best Buy is awesome). It's very easy to navigate, has an amazing screen + the best apps, and is better, in my opinion, than the normal iPad, because it is more portable (which is the reason I got it). It also gets double the life of my laptop & has better internet connectivity. This is truly another great product by Apple.

I purchased this iPad Mini for my wife who previously used a standard iPad. The smaller size and weight of this mini version more than makes up for the smaller screen size. The display is very sharp and many things we use it for can be resized if the the text is too small versus the larger unit.

I previously had an iPad with Retina Display then switched to the mini. Consider the OS features, battery life, screen quality and size, I would say the iPad Mini is probably the best in its category. This factors also make it very portable. The only negative factor would be the price and that only because it is extra $100 to upgrade to next tier of storage capacity. I did also try the Nexus 7 tablet before getting the iPad Mini just to compare. Though i don't mind the Android OS, Mini won the battle on few major factors for me. (just my opinion)

We gave this to our 8 year old son for Christmas. I can't get it out of his hands! The quality of the Apple iPad is just far superior to other tablets in my opinion. We have gone through several tablets before purchasing the iPad and there is no comparison in the ease of use and performance.

I thought this would be the perfect item for my mom's 90th birthday. Gave it to her, plugged it in -- 1% charge. Changed chargers, still 1% charge. Then it wouldn't come on at all. My mom lives in small town in TX so have to wait to get to larger town with a Best Buy in it.

The iPad Mini 2 exceeded my expectations. It's powerful, fast, and convenient. Just because this may be one of the cheaper and smaller models, I don't believe it will disappoint. I prefer the size and myself couldn't imagine having to carry around anything bigger.

Excellent product! If you're deciding between the iPad Mini Retina 2 vs iPad MIni Retina 3, get this one. It's identical in terms of the screen and processor speed and memory configurations. The iPad Mini 3 just has a fingerprint reader and costs much more!

I got this iPad mini for my kid, it's overpriced!!

I purchased the ipad mini 2 for my grade school kids. It is used for reading books on myON, do facetime with Mom, explore apps, and (90% of the time) play games. Knowing how to use a tablet and be familiar with the technology is an essential skill these days. The only way to learn is to own one and use it. I have been desensitized to the ipad mini's cost. The ipad mini 2 has a nice screen and very responsive. If you are trying to decide between the ipad mini 2 and the ipad mini 3, the only difference is the ipad mini 3 has the extra finger print scanner. I prefer to buy the mini 2 to save money and skip the finger print scanner.

I bought this ipad for for my daughter bc her ipod died.... I absolutely love it for her! The size is great for her ( shes 5) its easy to navigate and i love the parental controls you can add to it(super easy to do)

Shipped fast and arrived right on time for the holidays. The display is awesome and the colors are vibrant. It fits perfectly in my hands and it doesnt feel like its too big or too small. Loving it so far!

I cut my teeth on an iPad 2. It was starting to show its age after 4 years so I pursued a replacement. This smaller model has almost everything you'd want though Apple's stalwart refusal to put in an expansion slot for memory does stick out as a drawback. Otherwise, the battery life is great--as long as one remember's to charge it overnight. I use the device to play games, access email/Skype, and as a supplementary screen when I teach. This thing saved me the last time I had a tech failure. However, I can't say that I'd recommend using it on an ELMO to present slides to college students. I'd give it a 95% rating but I've rounded up to 5 stars for this review.

I got this for my birthday and I love it!! It's incredibly fast, screen is just as smooth as all the others from Apple and has a gorgeous display. I believe it's worth the extra money over the original iPad Mini for what you get. I like this over the iPad as I like this size better. I also got the Logitech bluetooth keyboard/cover which so far is pretty nice but I just got it so we'll see. I included the link to the keyboard....I'm also writing this review on it.

I absolutely love my Ipad mini. I already owned the larger Ipad air but I like the size and portability of this smaller Ipad.
