Customers highly value the iPad mini 2's compact size and ease of use, frequently praising its screen quality and performance. Positive feedback also highlights its lightweight design and good battery life, with many considering it a worthwhile purchase for the price. A common concern, however, centers on the limited storage capacity.

Safari crashes when adding tab.

Bought yesterday and will take back. I was unaware of the Safari crash issue with ipad minis and Airs. Just google it and see. Follow the support forums on Apple to see what a problem this is. Very disappointing as I own iPad 2, MacBook Pro and Apple TV. How can an Apple native app not work on their own device?

I wish I'd bought reliable Android: PIN CRASH

Having used smart phones for about 10 years and loved Android Platform I finally made a switch to Apple Products.
This is something I regret already.
I started the set up with the iPad in my hotel room on charge.
After setting up I was only ever asked for 1 four digit number, I used a "standard pin" - one which I never get wrong.
After the set up (with a terrible cursor control that wouldn't let me enter an extra letter in an email address: I had to delete half of it just to spell it correctly) It told me the was a SSL security Update. Obviously signed by Apple. I accepted.
When I returned the iPad mini requested a Passcode. I entered the "standard pin". This was rejected 5 times, locked me out with a "iPad Disabled for 2 minutes" message.
The passcode was rejected again, then locked me out with a "iPad Disabled for 5 minutes" message.
The passcode was rejected again, then locked me out with a "iPad Disabled for 15 minutes" message.
The passcode was rejected again, then locked me out with a "iPad Disabled for 60 minutes" message.
I called the 1-800 helpline number, the menu system was terrible (probably struggled with my English accent) and then the helpdesk girl asked me to go to iTunes, enter the iPad into recovery mode, and reset.
I've never been locked out of an Android Device (I've had 7 so far).
I've never had to use a Desktop PC to activate an Android Device.
I've never had to factory reset a new Android Device.
I've never had to spend 2 hours downloading software and updates for a BNIB android device.
I could go on.
The iTunes download (initially the wrong one at 222mb) for Windows was 145mb.
Once finally connected in upgrade mode (just pressing the HOME button starts off the "Siri" mode), iTunes then wants to download MORE software for the iPad.
Halfway through the download of the iPad software an ERROR MESSAGE appears saying "iTunes can't connect to Andy's iPad because it has a passcode on it".
This is beyond a joke.
I was recommended this product, but have only been able to use it for 2 minutes, it's been locked for the last 3 hours.
APPLE KNOWS ABOUT THIS ISSUE.

My recommendation: buy a Samsung, a Kindle HDX or a Nexus. They work out of the box.

Ipad Mini stopped turning on after 23 days...

Purchased the Ipad Mini from Best Buy. Had the mini 23 days and it will not turn on. Geek squared looked at it and had no idea what to do. Best Buy would not replace the mini. Had to send off to Apple. Best Buy told me that it will take up to 2 weeks to get the mini fixed or replaced. Cannot believe Best Buy would not replace broken mini after only 23 days from purchase.

Buying this item certified was a total nightmare, it came with the cord which seem like it was extremely used and abused. The iPad it self had scratches on the back. The way I see it a recycled item retouched and resold for a 10 percent less than a new item. I would not recommended. Not at all and buying online a total nightmare, I had to wait 24 hours to returned, and 40 minutes to 50 to get them to update it only so that the store could read that it was shipped. Yes, they forgot to input that it was shipped and received by UPS that was a wait of 40 minutes for me at the local store. And after that I got a cavalier look from a manager, can you came back tomorrow we cannot process the return today?

Why would you make a product, and expect beginners to buy and use it, if you don't give them any helpful instructions. We are very disappointed.

Safari Crashes, Low memory Crashes

This thing does not have enough memory (RAM). It frequently crashes when web browsing, always has to reload pages, and gives low memory warnings far too often. The screen is also washed out compared to the nexus 7 and kindle HDX. Very dissapointing considering how much more expensive this unit is.
