I love the size of the ipad. It is easy to use and it is very convenient. The Touch ID works great and the battery lasts a long time.

You'd think 16GB is really not much.. but it all just depends on how you use it. But I've pretty much been using my smartphone like an iPad or tablet, using it to read something, watch something, play games, take some notes, etc. But doing all that with this wider screen really made everything I did with my phone way better. It's also pretty light so it's really handy! Good to just keep it at one place.

I love it. I purchased it during one of Best Buy's 4 hours sales (couldn't resist the price). At first I was on the fence about getting a mini iPad, but it is the perfect size. If I don't want to open my laptop (too big), but don't want to use my phone (too small) the iPad is the perfect size. Perfect to keep in my purse. Of course all apple products connect which is great because I have an iPhone. Runs fast, and easy set up. I love it, I'm glad I purchased it!

Purchased this for my wife for Christmas. This was replacing a overly used Nexus Tablet. Since opening the package she has been thoroughly thrilled with the Size, Performance and lightness compared to the Nexus. There is not a day goes by that she does not have this within her hands. I also like the size and lightness compared to my iPad Air. Had I not purchased the iPad Air 1st this would have definitely been my selection.

Bought the iPad mini 3 for my two year old son who needed something small light weight for car rides to and from places and a way to play educational apps at home after preschool. After downloading apps from Disney I set it to airplane mode and he hasn't a clue he's not connected to wifi. (lol) I also erased the icons to get to settings and safari and all other unrelated kid friendly apps, ensuring years of him not knowing how to access the web and possibly negating from appropriate usage. Remember people this is a great introduction to electronic handling! When he graduates he can have the latest version of the Mac Pro 6 core like mom! :) I bought a Lifeproof case to protect it and let me assure you their cases are outstanding and take the beatings well. It also came with a strap that I can attach to my passenger headrest with ease for long drives (movies) Well worth the 399+100for both pieces!!!!

Bought the iPad Mini 3 as an upgrade for my wife who had a couple year old iPad Mini. Touch ID, Retina display and faster processor were selling points. Small size of the iPad Mini is great for travel while the Retina display provides crisp text for reading.

iPad mini 3 combines good ergonomics, convenient size, outstanding display with good performance and Apple's solid iOS operating system. The availability of huge number of apps is the icing on the cake. There may be cheaper systems but, especially when discounted, this is a great value.

Well built tablet. Simple but with a fast and reliable operating system. Perfect for any age group. The retina display is beautiful, specially when watching videos. Perfect size fits in hand nicely. Pretty good battery life.

I finally replaced the original iPad 1 mini 8GB and bought this iPad mini 3 16GB wifi for my wife's birthday. She uses it for: reading, news, playing games, and computing. It is like having a desktop in your hands. The A7 64 bit chip is twice as fast as the previous version (iPad 2 mini). It allows you to run a lot of apps all at once without having any memory issues. The battery is amazing, we get about 7 solid hours of heavy use. It charges in 45-60 min. If you have any doubts buy the 64 GB model, but if you like to save, you can always delete apps and re-add them easily from the app store. The cellular /data feature would have made this a completely different experience. The lightning connection is screamingly fast. The retina display is beautiful and incredibly indestructible. Apple's new fingerprint security is it's only flaw. I was able to unlock my son's new iPhone 6 with my finger, which he quickly changed this feature to a passcode to keep my prying eyes out. i

I'm an equal Microsoft/Apple Fanboy and I was decently pleased with this device. I bought it as a supplement to my phone for browsing the web and playing some games. Pros: - Great screen with wonderful apps - Fantastic size, my web pages fit perfectly and the A7 does a lovely job loading graphics - Touch ID makes this a no-brainer over the iPad mini 2 Cons: - iOS 9 seems to give it a hard time due to only having 1 GB of RAM - I'm not convinced 16 GB is enough, I've managed by deleting apps I don't use all that often, but that's a hassle and I'm very cloud connected as is. I can't say that Touch ID on this (now inexpensive) tablet makes it a winner over the iPad mini 2 but it certainly makes it hard to be cheap and buy the last gen iPad mini. I say go for it as long as you're not trying to play heavy graphics games or have a camera roll that is 3GB+

The new Ipad Mini was a gift for my wife. It has a brilliant screen that's perfect for her hands. She maneuvers around the screen with ease, and she loves that fact that her new Ipad mini fits right inside of her purse. With the Retina display, her new mini takes great pictures.

The size and function of the mini is awesome. It is light weight and easy to use. Apple got it right with this product and purchasing from best buy couldn't have been easier. I prefer to buy all my electronics from best buy because of the outstanding customer service.

I have been an android tablet user for quite a while. Mainly used LG Touchpad. Now when I compare the Ipad with it, it simply blows it away. The size of the Ipad mini is really convenient and handy. Its display is stunning and the camera features are amazing. Overall I am happy to make the switch to Ipad.

I got this IPAD MINI 3 during the 4hr sale Best buy had some weeks ago. The IPAD is well built and comes with no bloat ware! It is fast and never have problems with it freezing up or not loading PDF pages fast enough while reading article or books I download. Lots of great apps as well. Also, enjoy the size as it is extremely portable and not bulky like laptops or other larger tablets. If you get a keyboard cover like Logitech Folio you can easily write papers on this tablet. Real happy with the purchase.

Sleek. Fast. Smart. I think this is the perfect tablet size. Small enough to be portable but big enough to allow easy Web browsing and pleasant video viewing. Not many cases are availible in my area.

There's nothing I can complain about regarding my new iPad mini 3. It is lightning fast, has a beautiful and vivid display, fantastic camera with new features/options and of course the Touch ID home button!! Definitely buy this, you will not regret it!!

This little gem is perfect for everything from games to work. It's perfect to read so book on too. I have iPad Air 2 also and enjoy the Mini3 for most things besides maybe watching a movie. Catch it on sale for 150 off like I did. Even better!

I have been using Android for over three years now and to be honest, I was actually die hard loyal. I have used both the 2012 Nexus 7 and 2013 Nexus 7 and passed them onto family members. After the N7s I have been looking for a solid Android tablet. I checked out the Nexus 9, Galaxy Tab S's, LG Gpads, and I had read reviews on literally every available tablet and at the end I couldn't find one that could compare to the iPad mini 3. That was before the purchase, and now after buying it and using it for more than a month, I am certain that this is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. Phenomenal battery life and screen. The tablet apps are plenty in number and the whole experience is super smooth. I now have an android phone and the ipad and to be honest, they can co-exist perfectly.

This is my second Apple ipad. I would not even be buying a new one if my old one hadn't been dropped and the screen cracked. As it was $299 to repair the screen ): and $299 to buy a new ipad --- of course I bought a new ipad. My old one was an ipad mini 2 and worked great even after the screen cracked. I taped the cracks and screen down and it still worked fine GO APPLE!!! I had to buy a new one though because I have a 3 year old and was afraid of her cutting herself on the glass, otherwise would have kept on using broken one.
