Love the tablet, purchased it as a Christmas present. My daughter loves it. The Gold is gorgeous and what can you say that hasn't already been said about the iPad. The mini is perfect for ladies because it fits right into your purse. The speed is tremendous and there are so many more apps with the iPad than with any other tablet. It's great for reading, playing games or just surfing the web. Love it. All three member of my family now have an iPad.

It goes without saying that if you e bought into the apple Eco system, then the iPad is the tablet you'll want. The mini is a great size and easily fits in one hand which is really convenient for late night browsing and watching movies. The Touch ID is so awesome that you'll start to resent your apple products that don't have it! For a small easily portable iPad that's not big in size, this is the one to get. Hands down.

As an Apple convert, I never thought I'd have an Apple phone and tablet. What I've come to learn is their products just plain work. The iPad Mini 3 is like a larger version of my iPhone 5s. It does everything seamlessly, has a great screen, and the Touch ID scanner is a bonus. If you already have Apple products then you know what I'm talking about. If your an Android fan, I highly recommend giving the iPad Mini 3 a try.

Coming from the original mini without retina display, this is an amazing step up. Granted the only difference is hardware and the software experience is still the same, the improved hardware actually makes the experience better due to the increased speed and better resolution. I still prefer Android tablets for the advanced usability, but for my wife, this was hard to pass up... a no-brainer purchase when $150 off.

Bought two of these and love it. Me and my wife sit beside each other and play our own.

It is lighter, and easy to carry. So I think it is slightly better than the Air 2.

Comfortable size for a tablet fast and really HD!!

Apple's smaller iPad is still a great choice. Both the display and battery life are excellent. Other than a gold option and Touch ID, the iPad Mini 3 is identical to its predecessor. It lacks the processor and camera upgrade of its big brother, the Air 2, and it's still priced at the high end for midsize tablets.

I have both apple and Android phones and have a strong preference for muy Android phone. The Apple devices limit how much you can customize them. I got this ipad mini because of its size and build quality. I like it so much better than I thought I would. Battery life is great, the screen is excellent, and the limitations on customising haven't been that big of a deal compared to the pros.

This was definitely an impulse buy. I had not planned on getting an iPad mini, however when they were on sale a few weeks back, I couldn't pass up the great deal. I picked up 2 for just a little over the price for 1 normally. I've put most of the games that I played on my phone, on the iPad. It helps my phone battery last longer and the games looks great on a bigger screen too.
