I was a big fan of the iPad mini when it first came out, but after I got my iPhone 6 Plus, there became fewer reasons for it to tag long with me in my bag. So when it came time to buy a new tablet, I first went by my old thinking and got the mini 4. But after thinking about the price difference and how I'd be using it, I decided to exchange for an iPad Air 2. I haven't looked back. I now use it at home to play games and catch up on reading, and when I want to watch streaming video, I love the new iOS9 picture in picture feature, which lets me watch TV while shooting up zombies in Dead Trigger 2-- all in Retina display glory! Bigger (at home) is definitely better.

I had a kindle and have been issues with the memory, even though there is nothing on it. My husband bought me this ipad for Valentine's day to replace my Kindle. I never knew what I was missing! I debated between the mini and the ipad air, but I'm happy I chose the mini. It is the perfect size for me. Very portable and convenient. It basically replaces my kindle and my laptop (for the most part). I also like that I can use my phone charger to charge it. I did not purchase the warranty through best buy and of course my dog got a hold of it a cracked the screen. Cost me $300 to get it fixed. It was worth fixing though. I love my ipad mini!

After enjoying my iPad2 for years, this new iPad3-mini is great. The retina screen is incredible, and combined with the A7 processor and longer battery life it's a real winner. Looking forward to many years of enjoyment!

This was a gift for my college age son whose laptop was out of date. He wanted something small, light weight and portable for school that was an apple product. Plus he wanted something for fun/gaming. The ipad mini was a great buy - it fits all of his needs and we found a keyboard case that works great for typing papers!

I love the clarity of the screen. The improved camera works well and makes picture taking and editing easy. The size is great for portability and ok for pictures. It is faster and I love the fingerprint lock

I like the smaller size. It's easy to carry with me. I bought this to replace an older larger iPad. This iPad has more memory and updated features. I take lots of photos and this works great for me.

My mom has been wanting an iPad for a while now. However, she isn't a fan of big tablets. This is easy for her to carry around and it runs really well. The Touch ID/Apple pay is a plus.

As usual, Apple doesn't let us down. It has all the features the large iPad has in a small screen and frame. The camera is excellent and apps run smooth. Battery life is great as well.

I love the size and speed of this iPad mini!!!! The 64g has a lot of space for games and music!! I have the bigger iPad as well, but I now use the mini instead! Love it!!

I had an original IPad, my wife an IPad 2. She wanted something that would fit in her purse. The Mini was the perfect answer. For a few dollars more I went with the 3 instead of 2 for the display and exchanged the sim card option for more memory. Wireless seems a little more efficient also Wife is very pleased which, of course, was worth the money lol.

This iPad is absolutely perfect! Well, maybe for me, and I'll tell you why. Before I purchased this tablet, I thought that the iPad mini was going to be too big for me. My main use for it now is going to be for college, and I wanted to be able to slip it into my backpack quickly and easily pull it out. I didn't want to be lugging a 60" flat screen tv all the time! To my surprise, it was the perfect size for my needs! I love the connectivity that Apple provides with their devices. I started with an iPhone, and added a MacBook pro to my slowly growing apple collection. Now I have an iPad mini. Throw iCloud in there, and now I can access my phone contacts on all three devices, send a sms message from my iPad to any cell phone regardless of who manufactured the phone, and save a note to my phone from my MacBook! The setup for my iPad was super easy, and even if you don't already have an account with apple, they make it easy to create one to get you started! Definitely would recommend this over any windows or android tablet.

We have had an iPad mini 1st generation 16gb, then we upgraded to the iPad mini with Retina Display 32gb and found that we really needed more memory to take care of all the things we do so when the iPad mini 4 came out, we took the opportunity to upgrade to a iPad mini 3 with 64gb since they were at very attractive closeout prices due to the iPad mini 4 coming on the shelves. We are sold on the iPad mini. It has a large enough screen to view everything we do and it fits very conveniently into my wife's purse. We found we did not need the larger format iPad Air

I bought this iPad mini 3 after trading in my iPad mini 1 with 16 gigabytes. It's a great upgrade, even though the iPad mini 3 doesn't have the same specs as the iPad air 2, it's still worth the upgrade. The display is super clear, it works perfectly smooth, and the 64 gigabytes of storage is very comfortable. Touch ID was nice to have for online purchases.

So I previously had an iPad 2, but of course it was getting slow with the new updates so I decided to buy myself new iPad. I was able to trade in my old one for a gift card and I purchased the Mini 3. I like the mini much better than the regular Ipad. And even though it's smaller, I don't feel like I'm losing much in terms of screen size and the size is so much more convenient for carrying around.

Size is great and easy to hold in one hand. Touch ID is a nice feature to have. Much faster than the original iPad mini.

My new mini has been very good. I use it more than my desktop computer now. The mini is a prefect size: Not too small and not too big. The screen is easy to navigate. The screen has very good resolution and the touch id is nice. I would recommend this too anyone looking at purchasing an new tablet for the first time. The ipad is a little more expensive although very nice.

I replaced my second generation iPad 2 with the new iPad mini 3. It's amazing how much faster it operates, and the storage space holds 64 gig. The screen unlocks like the new iPhones requiring only a finger match. The addition of Siri is a nice touch and its size makes it easier to carry with me. As for the resolution, I couldn't be more pleased. It exceeded my expectations, so I can say I am happy with my purchase. I no longer have to delete apps like I did with my 32 gig to make room for additional apps and music. There's also a 128 gig model, if you can believe that, but my 64 gig is about the right amount of memory for me. If you haven't checked the iPad mini 3 and are considering buying one, I urge you to give it a test run in the store. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Quite pleased with my new mini...easy to cry around and use. It willbe an excellent travel companion. Everything transferred well, jpdates are easy...got used to the smaller size quite quickly.

I've had an iPad since the 2nd generation model was available and have enjoyed it. I seemed to end up using my iPhone more often though, just because of the size of the iPad. The iPad mini is the perfect solution. I love reading books & magazines on this, storing pictures and using it just for general web browsing. The size is perfect and the 64gb of storage is fantastic. Highly recommend this.
