    First time disappointed with Apple

    The iPad itself is fine. However, when trying to restore from my current iPhone learned that this was not possible because the latest iOS available for the iPad (12.1.1) was not compatible with the latest iOS version on my iPhone (12.1.2). Apple support told me that I could either enter all my contacts manually (really?) or just wait to restore the phone when they push out a new iOS that is compatible with both devices. You would think someone at apple would have thought it important to make their phones and iPads compatible, particularly at Christmas time when so many people are receiving new devices as gifts!

    Loved idea of this device at first, AND it's not like I don't have other such devices to know what's up, plus this one was a great deal, but from just not knowing password I have not had any recovery choices that work. Very disappointed. Difficult to get to store. I'm hoping end result is good, but in the meantime it's not been fun. I had this shipped to me, out of town, was counting on working on it. I even used the finger print option, so I wouldn't have to go through this. Not sure what went wrong. AND when I do get to go to a store they will have to just take my word that this device became disabled immediately. PLUS Best Buy still has my laptop in repair (long story there too), so I have neither of my devices! Guess no one's fault, just saying.

    Apple iPad is the biggest disappointment in texting, gaming and web surfing history. I had to go back to pc computer Microsoft once I received this bundle of junk, made by a complete talentless company such as Apple. They have made nothing but crap through the years. Android tablet is much better than Apple. Sorry, I am saving up for an android, until then pc computer Microsoft until then. Yes I got rid of the Apple junk...

    I bought this ipad to take on vacation with me (haven't gone yet) and also because I have an iPhone so I figured it would be easy to learn and it is. It has plenty of space for photos and a pleasant surprise is I can use it as a kindle and read books on it! Now when I go on vacation I won't need to take both the ipad and my Nook. It also seems to last quite a while on a charge. The screen is big enough to look at the internet--IPhone is sooo tiny. Over all I'm happy with my purchase.

    Not using much only when I'm about to sleep just to check my FB and mails and it's not even a month since I purchase then all of the sudden the screen become frozen . I brought it back to Best Buy and they try to do everything but it's the same problem . They don't have stock in store or any close by store and they try to order online and the associate said on line ordering won't allow them to order the item which is 128gb . Really upset coz I need to go all the way to Apple Store in Sacramento just to exchange the item...

    The screen is terrible! Very easy to crack. The bestbuy at Henrietta has a very bad service. My ipad mini 4 was just bought within one year, rarely use, but the screen is cracked automatically. The bestbuy at Henrietta has a very bad service, refuse to fix it even I just bought it within 1 year and have the 1 year maintenance contract. I will never consider this product again.

    When my Apple IPad mini would not charge I contacted Best Buy and the Apple company to have it repaired. Was told that the insurance did not cover this type of repair. Therefore I will no longer purchase any electronics from Best Buy or Apple products. Will only purchase appliances when necessary. Must be careful when purchasing insurance for i pads.

    Ordered gift packaging, thought it would be gift wrapped, could have sworn i saw a photo of a wrapped gift when I ordered my product. It's an ugly blue and silver box, I'm going to have to wrap it myself, can't give someone this box. Inside the box is a bunch of silver paper just crinkled around the object. Better than those folks who just got tissue paper covering their item, but still not worth the $4.

    I was finally able to afford an iPad mini 4 for my mom Friday for mother's day. It was the cheapest open box available. I was told it was just missing a charger. When she opened the box, the iPad was only on 2% but doesn't charge at all. It actually did come with a charger but it's useless. A couple days later and there aren't any open box ones left and the price for a new one raised.

    LOL ; Apple - iPad mini 4 has gr8er issues than Android! WHY waste $$$ on an apple product then? It started to crash only 7 days after I started using it. Took it back to the store and got a partial refund on a gift card!!! I ESCALATED THIS PROBLEM WITH MY CREDIT CARD simply to be able to get my rightful full refund! NEVER EVER WILL I MAKE ANOTHER PURCHASE FROM BESTBUY!!!

    After calling iPad folks for help, they finally told to take it back to Best Buy, they have a 14 day refund policy. I took it back and was told they could not take it back because my info was on it. I called the Apple Store and made an appointment and took it down there, they was able to set it up for me. They were surprised that Best Buy would not honor their policy.

    Set up the iPad Mini, but immediately it would not accept my password. Six tries and locked out. Best Buy Geek squad says they can't help because iTunes rejects their attempts at a forced start. Now my only prayer is to go to the Apple Store. Rough start so far. Hoping Apple Technicians can work a little magic then I'll raise my product review rating.

    When I started iPad it is asking me to enter Passcode but this is the first time I am starting iPad. I tried with "123456","000000" but still not working, after few trials iPad is disabled. I am not at all satisfied with this product. The only mistake I did was, I bought it in Cedar Rapids, US and I started after coming to India.

    Missing two parts

    I ordered two IPad mini , both certified. Both were put in one box and shipped to my house. It took a while to get it and I didn't open them right away. Then I found out that one was completely open and charging converter and charging cable were missing. Ive called Best buy bet they refused to do anything.

    I bought this item open box and I brought it back as a gift to my 8 years son , I it used and has pass word and I can't use it, the sales man confirmed it has no password, I am in Amman, Jordan and I am waiting to send it back to you with one of my colleagues

    This thing is total garbage. Will absolutely not download my purchases, stream youtube video or update software. Good for basic searches with extensive delays, only. Have tried it now on several different wifi connections, so I will be making the trip back to best buy to return. Don't waste your money or your time.

    I use my IPad to read a lot of books and it is so light and easy to hold. There are so many features that I have not yet had time to explore them all but whenever I do have time to browse, I discover more and more that I love about it. Buy one for yourself!!!

    I purchased a mini ipad 4. It came with 6 months free protection. You can’t just download it without being charged. No info given on how to get the 6 mo. Protection. Very upset since it’s saying if I don’t get it done by 12/26/17. I lose it. I paid for it though buying the iPad, but I didn’t get it. Highly upset!!

    Weak wifi

    Worked great first couple of day, then started disconnecting from my wifi. Rebooted several times, did a reset on it twice and nothing worked. Set it up on my phone wifi and as long as it was within a foot of my phone it worked. Move the phone 2 to 3 feet away and it would disconnect. So I returned it for a refund.

    I’ve never had an issue with apple products but when an iPad stops working just like that and no solution to be provided except I pay $300 to replace, this is jus wrong and that what happened to one of the 2 iPad mini I bought.
