I am very pleased with this iPad mini 4. Beside getting a great discount on it at Best Buy, I was able to purchase it with cellular. The size makes it easy to put in my purse for travel. The Retina display is so clear and crisp. The battery life has been great. Overall great purchase.

The iPad mini is just what I was looking for except that I thought I had extra data coming to me when I hooked it to AT&T.

I like the mini's size over the normal iPad for portability and weight. I got this to replace my iPad mini 2. The screen quality is great and more vibrant than my old iPad. With improved processor and memory, the mini 4 feels snappy and the annoyance of reloading Safari tabs and multitasking is not a problem anymore. It's nice to use Touch ID so I don't have to keep using my passcode all the time. 16GB is limiting for me but 64GB is plenty coming from the 32GB model. The only con is the price but that's with any other Apple product. Because of the size difference, cases and screen protectors are not interchangeable like the iPad minis 1/2/3.

I have had iPads since they came out in 2010. I purchased the original series for both my daughter and I as they were released, skipping a year between each release for "better upgrades". I skipped the iPad Mini 1 after seeing that it went backward in capability, and still had my iPad 4 when the iPad Mini 2 was released. I used that for a year and went against my norm...getting the iPad Mini 3 when it was released, since I liked the Touch ID capability for security. Also, I got the mobile version with a SIM, allowing portability. There were no other changes in the 2 and the specific 3 I purchased. So, along comes the iPad Mini 4 and I had to have it...it's new and has to be better, right? Meh, sort of. I'm older now, pushing mid 40's and now needing glasses to read, so I compared the iPad Mini 4 to the year old iPad Air 2 (since they skipped a version 3 for the iPad Pro). What I found was that the iPad Air 2, albeit a year old in technology, was still better in specs than the newly released iPad Mini 4. All sorts of bench tests from high tech companies have proved this (see for yourself online). So off to the store I went to test for myself. After several different app tests in Best Buy (multiple I might add), I found that side-by-side the iPad Air 2 was faster than my iPad Mini 4. I'll keep the device, since it too has a SIM and is great for travel in a backpack. But for the house...I'm awaiting the release of the new larger iPad, whatever it may be called in the next month or so. I believe it is rumored that on March 21st Apple may announce the next gen iPad.

The iPad Mini 4 is light, small enough to fit in a bag, yet large enough to do everyday computing such as internet browsing, email, reading, calendar tasks, Trello tasks, and document creation (such as word and excel docs). Battery life is as advertised and seems to last several days without charge. Offers a pleasant FaceTime experience. I ordered the 64 GB unit with cellular capabilities. I have found this size to be large enough for the novice user to the power user. Enough space to store movies, music, and docs, and don't feel like you are sacrificing space. This was a gift purchase and they absolutely love all the things I've mentioned about the Mini 4, including it working right out of the box. A great gift for anyone.

bought this 64G cellular ipad mini for my wife as chrismas gift, she loves the touch ID, the smaller size than her old iPAD 4, and of course the GPS. she is the kind of person who needs navigation at any time. the GPS is quite sensitive, within 10s outside you are located, no need for WIFI or a SIM card. she can take this small pad in her bag when we hike. iphone also has GPS, but the larger screen of this pad is a huge plus. She can even use it when driving. a perfect balance between ipad 4/air and iphone. plus, the screen is much better than mini 1/2/3, you can tell by your eyes if you walk into a apple store. highly recommended!

I have put off buying an iPad because I had an electronic book reader from the "big bookseller" -don't want to mention the name- I truly enjoyed using it. It was a delight to be able to read in bed without disturbing my wife. I could reverse the background from white to black and cut out more of the disturbing light without losing the ability to read the text easily. However, over time just being able to read a text was no longer enough. I investigated other tablets but none had the feel and capability of Apple's iPad 4 mini with cellular. I still read my favorite books but now am able to do so much more! With in-house wifi and my browser, I can explore the world while comfortably positioned in bed. At times I barely get a few hours sleep! The Apple iPad is one of the best investments I have made Don't wait as long as I did. Get one now and see for yourself!

I have an older iPad 3 full size and it was becoming painfully slow. Bought the iPad Mini 4 cellular version and this is just about perfect since it has most of the current upgrades. Screen is superb. Great compact size, light weight, connects great through T-Mobile's system (can use the Apple SIM card) and best of all you can get a plan with 5 GB of data for 5 months for $10 total, and is renewable. Got the 64GB version which is enough storage for over a hundred apps and music. This iPad should be good for several years before the next time I upgrade.

The iPad is the only option that fits my needs, mainly due to app availability. After happily using an iPad 2 for years, age was taking its toll performance wise, so it was time to upgrade. The smaller form factor fits perfectly into a cockpit environment, not too small, not too big. It now has the power to run the apps I need without getting bogged down by the ios or apps.

Loving my iPad mini4 after upgrading from iPad mini2. Although there is not much difference yet there is a lot. Retina display, better processor, better battery, better camera and furthermore its more lighter. Signing up for a wireless carrier was great since I didn't have to get any specific carrier's sim, so far it's the best mini ever.

Traded up from an iPad 2nd gen for performance. Traded down in size for portability. Excellent choice on both fronts. The iPad mini 4 is frankly the best tablet on the market. I own two others besides the previous iPad. Nothing compares to the performance, versatility, and portability of the mini 4. I would buy a mini 4 again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a go anywhere do anything mini tablet.

This tablet is amazing. Feels light in my hands, has all the apps I need, does not get stuck like an old computer does, has all photos I captured in my phone, I can watch movies on TV from this iPad by just connecting it to the TV and it feels great. All relevant news is in my hands when I grab it. I love it

My young son wanted an iPad and with post holiday sales I was able to get one for him. He loves it and is the perfect size for little hands. It is also easy to use and I love the fact that apple can do family sharing seeing I have an iPhone. With family sharing he has to get my approval to download any apps, therefore I can monitor and make sure it is appropriate and not costly.

All models put to shame with this mini 4. Apple is a name you can trust and be assured that what you are investing in, will last. Problem with Apple products, or any technology for that matter, is that it changes too frequently, thus resulting in frequent out dating of devices. It's frustrating. With that said, the Apple mini 4 will not disappoint and has met all my expectations.

This Ipad is the perfect size for on the go. The clarity of the screen is impressive. Haven't had any issues with this Ipad - I actually gave my earlier generation Ipad to a family member as it was still working perfectly and purchased this one. I have had great results with all my Apple products.

My very first iPad. Have been eyeballing for a year. Needed mini version for its superior portability. Last September (2015) almost pulled trigger on 3rd version. Glad I waited. 4th one is far superior and thinner. Got it on valentine's sale. Unbelievable deal. Does all my navigation and image editing tasks easily. No lag what so ever. Great edition to iPhone.

Purchased for daughter and the whole family loves this iPad. Easy to use. After 2 weeks of using the speaker went bad, made a horrible noise when any sound was needed from iPad. Took back to Best Buy and they gave us a new one,( I did purchase apple care when I purchase the first one). So it turned out well. The iPad mini 4 is so fun to use.

It was nice to finally upgrade from my iPad mini 2 to the 4 as it had enough improvements to justify the new purchase. I like the size of the mini and it fits in many of my jacket pockets. Powerful enough to play my games and do other functions with it. Cellular service is also good as I can choose from several caries while on my iPad

It is difficult to review Apple products because they are so widely known. But this version is much faster than my previous one, has fingerprint ID, and is much better at connecting overseas that the preceding version. It was worth changing to this model.

I have had the original ipad mini and it was just mighty slow and didn't have all the upgraded features. This is nice, sleek, upgraded, fast and easy to use, and I'm not a techy person. It's lightweight and handy. Allows me to do so much on a bigger screen than my iPhone 6. Pictures are great quality too. Love it!
