I have the 1st and 3rd ipads and purchased this one for my husband. He was reading on his phone and said he didn't want one... Well, he loves the speed and picture quality.

I enjoy my fun, but unnecessary toy. Maybe someday it will be a more essential part of my life, but it's not today. Right now only 2 things I would change: add a USB port, and best graphics available.... But I didn't want to spend the additional money on new iPad mini.

I wanted the smaller version of the iPad as it is easier for me to take back and forth to court. I had several programs that I wanted to use that are not compatible with my desktop and using them on my phone was just problematic...so stepped up to the next size the mini.

I like the smaller size and convenience (going on a trip and figured this would be better when sight-seeing than my iPad3) - but disappointed Apple doesn't make a full case (front/back cover) like the full size iPad. Got a decent case (Acase) which is pretty thin but the tablet is now definitely not as lightweight as I'd hoped. Also a little uncomfortable to hold - but have only used it for a week, so it may be something I get more used to.

I love my ipad mini. I purchased the Verizon capable unit and use it mainly with my mobile DJ business. I love being able to pull this out when discussing events with customers to show off my website and applications that I use. It beats having to wait for a laptop to start up. I also use it to watch movies when traveling. I also hook it up to my car's audio via Bluetooth and run applications like Pandora and my iTunes playlists. Only knock I have is that the screen reflects too much of the background, in that if you don't hold it at a certain angle you will just be staring at your reflection instead of the contents on the screen. Overall though it is awesome.

I like my i pad mini, because it is great to take with you anywhere. Like having a mini computer with you at all times. I would recommend the mini i pad to anyone looking for something usable and very transportable.

I love my iPad mini. i have an iPhone, iPad 1, and an iMac and the mini is synonymous with my environment. It is a bit slow to connect sometimes but I cannot blame the device, I blame my ISP. :)

I really like my new iPad mini. I was debating on buying one because I wanted to wait for the second generation but it's been a great purchase!

Get yourself a mini but get a wifi unit and then just add a jet pack, it'll save you some $$$. The unit itself is fantastic, a perfect size!

first i-pad and love the size. Easy to use in meetings.

I am so happy with my iPad mini. Great one hand tablet. Worked great in Europe for taking pics/video. Light weight and fun to use.

Perfect size. Comfortable to hold. I find that I use this device more than I did the full size iPad.

This is my first tablet and I love it. It is very light and easy to carry. I have everything stored on here from my pics to books and movies. I'm so glad that I've purchased this.

Takes great pictures and videos. I Can put in my purse and take it any where love it

This mini is great for people who want a small compact :laptop", that does everything a higher price laptop does.

I have bad eyes...found the mini perfect for me. Bigger than a smart phone, but small enough for port ability.

I bought this iPad for my 8-year old granddaughter. She is computer saavy and it is easy for her to go navigate the icons/menus.

If you like iPads, the mini has just about all the same features (except the retina display) but in a more convenient size.

Never thought I would need this neat, little device. But the great thing is, I can do all the things with it, that I do with my macbook pro 13" and its even more portable. The two together are like having my own little network. Nice!

Was skeptical about the iPad Mini's smaller size, but I really have grown to value it. It has replaced the iPad 2.
