This case is awesome but pricey like everything else from Apple. I have it with the smart cover on my iPad mini and now my iPad Pro. It fits the iPad like a glove. It has a soft interior so it won't scratch the iPad and has a hard shell so it's not just soft silicone and will provide some protection. I love the grippy feel it provides. After months of use it cleans up wonderfully and shows no signs of wear even the one on my mini which is light blue. It protects fine against bumps and scratches but a fall onto a hard surface I have my doubts. If you're hard on your gadgets you might want to consider something more protective. If you want a full case you need to pair this with the smart cover which is sold separately and protects the front. You can get them to match or get different colors. They are not cheap but I see it as kind of foolish to spend as much as an iPad Pro costs and not protect it.

i have gone through 2 of these in less than a year - this on was purchased 2 months ago. The material - vinyl-plastic??? in the corner broke down and cracked or broke on this one - the first one also broke at the same corner in similar fashion. Looks like the material gets brittle after a while and cracks or breaks...

Edges started chipping after 6 months especially by the charging port

This is the case to have if you have the iPad pro. It allows you to still have the Smart keyboard and provides great protection against scratches and drops. Unlike other cases it's kit is flawless and has a great feel to it without add bulk. This is the case to have if you own an iPad pro.

The back cover fits tight and protects the iPad well. Works great with the keyboard cover and sticks well to all surfaces (won't slip) It does make the iPad feel a bit thicker but not so much that it intrudes on usage. Since the cover is non-slip, it makes it a bit more challenging to slip into my backpack but the protection is worth the minor annoyance. The volume and on/off button are a bit harder to blindly feel but still able to use while the cover is on. The price is steep compared to 3rd party products but I bought my at a slightly reduced price since it was an open box item. Overall I would recommend the cover for protection and non-slip quality.

The cover was easy to install. Provided a good amount extra grip which is helpful for the iPad pro Provides good protection for the back and sides of the iPad. Downside is the price, lack of colors and it only covers the back and side. Screen protection is a spearate purchase.

Great product fits perfect with the apple keyboard. I think is a little to expensive for what you get, but it is definitely and accessorie needed to protect your iPad and It will extend the iPad look for a while and it's also light weight.

This case fits perfectly and protects the back of my Ipad Pro. It has a good grip without being grabby. Feels great in my hand and protects my investment.

Bought this case with Apple's Smart Keyboard--the two combined are perfect and offer 100% protection. The case has a slight lip around the edge, so if you have your iPad screen down an a surface, the screen will not touch the surface. Case offers great grip so no worries with it slipping out of your hands--also does not collect lent. Solid case. Worth the money.

Like all Apple products it is hugely overpriced for what it is. There are many plastic back cases for iPads out there, but few if any leave the side open the way it needs to in order to use the SmartCover or SmartKeyboard. In my searching I only found ONE other one for the iPad Pro and it had holes in it, supposedly for ventilation. I want to protect my investment so after about two weeks of researching and looking around I finally broke down and bought this thing yesterday. The case itself is well made and durable. It has a microfiber liner like the inside of the SmartKeyboard and case so it protects the iPad well. My only gripes are that it covers the buttons instead of leaving them exposed (personal preference) and the holes over the speakers seem too small, but when I compared the sound with and without the case and it's about the same. There are lots of nice cases out there, but due to the prince I can only recommend it if you need to use the SmartCover or SmartKeyboard at the same time. If not, the exposed side will other you and there are a lot of nice cheaper options out there.

I resisted buying this case based on the price for a while, buying several off brand or different brand cases for my iPad pro. Here is the catch, this was designed by apple, for apple and the fit and weight and grip are perfect and amazing. In my opinion it is professional and durable and has been worth every penny.

Great fit, great feel. Not slick, so the iPad doesn't slip on surfaces or in your hands. Cleans easily.

I have tried cheaper cases for my iPad Pro but they aren't as well made - e.g., didn't fit as well, weren't lined with material to protect the device, etc. The soft texture of this case is grippy and feels very nice in the hand. The lining is excellent to protect the device's casing. Fits perfect. But it is quite pricey for a simple shell case. One side is left unprotected at the point where the smart cover would connect if you got the smart cover. So if you aren't planning on getting the smartcover, this case does not provide full protection.

Yes. This is an expensive case. But just like any apple accessory, it is well made, fits like a glove and offers a perfect minimalist function. Protection wise I really don't think this will prevent any damage if dropped other that prevent scratched. Fits beautifully with the iPad Pro Apple Keyboard.

Would not consider any other cover. Best cover on the market. Had the same for old iPad and will use apple for the next one. Light weight and durable get aaa rating from me. A bit expensive but I like to protect my apple ipad

Works great with the Apple key board. Protects well and the grip/feel of this cover is nice.

With my iPhone, I have used a silicone case to protect it (for several generations). This case adds strength and support while being easy to use and easier to attach to the iPad Pro while complementing the keyboard I also purchased. It creates a svelte profile while being sturdy. It also cleans easily.

Expensive but best option if you're looking for light weight protection that won't scratch the iPad. Too many cheaper options lacked the soft inner material or were made from cheaper materials that potential would produce outgassing and potentially effect the finish of the iPad.

This case is a good fit for my new iPad Pro. It feels good in the hands and is made of durable snug material. It pairs well with the Apple Keyboard. I wish it had a holder or a pocket for the Apple Pencil however.
