Customers are delighted by the iPad's screen quality, citing its rich colors and crisp display. The device's ease of use is also frequently praised, particularly for its intuitive setup and user-friendly interface. While some users noted the device runs warmer than previous models, the 4G capabilities were a welcome feature for many.

Easy to use, easy to setup and convenient to have. I purchase the AT&T version because we have them for our iPhones and AT&T was more than willing to redo our plan to accommodate more devices. I actually ended up with a cheaper plan due to not needing a separate hot spot anymore.

The iPad 3 with wifi has been a great purchase. The camera is great and the different photo techniques have been fun to experiment with. I like to be able to take it with me and use it for non- wifi applications (the Kindle app and games). My son was also able to download a paper writing app and use it for homework. All in all a great purchase!

If one is already familiar with an iPhone, it is easier to learn how to use the iPad. I mainly wanted to be able to download books & we have done that. Now I want to activate the Skype for sharing with family.

Glad that I could find this Ipad 3 before they were all gone. Great value since the Ipad 4 came out. Even the sales person said that there really isn't much difference between the two. And it was less than the Ipad 2!

Honest Review of the Ipad NEW

Okay so I had the Ipad 2 and like everyone else rushed to line up and buy the Ipad 3 (not really 3). So i was able to get one fairly easy, it didn't sell out and as of this writing there's plenty left everywhere.
I started using the new Ipad and it turns out everything I was doing I could do on the Ipad 2. I mean the camera and video was clearer with more megapixels..etc but I don't use the ipad to take pictures or do videos. Also the 4G capabilities were nice but that turned out bad cuz i already burned up my allotted 3GB! Now I can't use it for the rest of the month or I'll be paying fees. I know that there's been a lot of talk about it heating up, and it's true..it does run a bit hotter than my old Ipad2. I don't use it for hours so it didn't bother me too much and I have a cover on the bottom.
Well needless to say the upgrades were not worth it for me to get rid of my Ipad 2. So this is going back to the store. I have a few friends who are also returning it. Lucky we have 2 weeks to return it.
Now I understand why it's called New Ipad and not Ipad 3. Cuz it's just slightly upgraded. Everything looks the same!

I bought the new iPad the day it came out, replacing my first-generation 3G, 16GB with a 4G, 16GM. The first thing I noticed was the amazing picture quality. I didn't watch a lot of video on my first iPad and didn't plan on doing so, but because of the incredible retina display, I find myself using my iPad more and more as a TV, adding subscriptions to Hulu Plus, HBO Go and MLB. I've also downloaded more videos from iTunes, which is why after a week I went back to Best Buy and traded it in for the 32 GB version.
The "4G" speed is a huge upgrade from 3G, but be careful as it's easy to get carried away watching videos on 4G and burn up your data plan.
I sense the battery life is shorter, although Apple claims its similar to previous iPads. This could be because I use the new iPad much more than its predecessors, and use it to watch video (which is surely a battery drain).
My biggest concern is how the iPad heats up after long periods of use. I sense this will become a bigger concern as the weather heats up. Not sure how it will hold up poolside in a Georgia summer. I have this feeling Apple may be dealing with some issues here in the future.

It's the new Ipad

I bought the original Ipad. I skipped the IPad2, but decided it was time to upgrade when the uh New Ipad came out.
It feels fantastic in my hands, and feels very quick and responsive. Screen wise it is one of the clearest crispest screens out there. It is actually such a good screen it makes all my LCD monitors look like junk displays. There have been a lot of complaints about it heating up. In my usage over the last 3 weeks or so it has never become uncomfortable. It has never even gotten "warm". It has only gotten "Not cold" which is contrasting to the original ipad which always felt cool for me.
Overall this is a worthy successor to the Orignal Ipad at least (did not own an Ipad2). That said it's biggest fault is AT&T. I picked the AT&T version, but honestly it's not a good service. I think that is the biggest fault. I had friends with the verizon version and in my area both are equally bad, so AT&T it is for now.
Final note. The smartcover is brilliant. If you have an Ipad you need the smart cover. it works well as a stand, and toggles the ipad to sleep mode.

over all i moved up from a first generation iPad to the new one, and its a big move. however, if you'er with the iPad 2 it may not be very important to move unless you are interested in the retina display. for users of the original iPad the new one is faster, liter, slimmer, and has a display that will blow you away. highly recommend the step up.
only down side is the new apps that work with the new display are bigger and will eat up disc space fast zoo i'm not sure that a 16g would be a wise move if you are a big app user.
another issue that isn't the iPads fault is the 4g and that AT&T & Verizon over charge for the 4g LTE service,

I Love It More Than I Thought It Would

I have a PC, a MacBook, an iPhone, and every iPod there is. I was skeptical to spend another $800 for an iPad. I really wasn't sure I'd want one, I looked at them without much interest. I then made the mistake of going into Best Buy and bought the 32g Wi-Fi model. I figured with Best Buy's 14-day return that I'd try it out and then if I didn't love it, I'd bring it back. I really do LOVE it. It's just so easy. And blindingly fast. I use it sitting on the couch to look something up real quick. I take it to bed to read news (love Flipboard!!!!) I can see where it'd be PERFECT for traveling. It'll do everything I need. email, internet, music and movies. And it's so small and compact. Skip the laptop. Get the iPad.

I'm a long time Mac fan and an Apple fan. Picked up the new iPad and really liked it. Nice screen, rich in color. Fast web and netflix streaming is great. Overall a very nice product, unfortunetly I had to return it. I have a 4 year old son which likes to use a painting program that lets him paint on the screen with his fingers. The iPad started running a little hot after he used the program for about an hour. I got a little concerned and took it away from him (it wasn't very easy to take it away). Then I read today that Consumers Report did some test and the temperature ran as high as 116 degrees. Not an issue for me but not going to take a chance with him. I'll probably exchange it for the iPad 2, which is a little cheaper and doesn't have this issue.

I bought this today and I love it. No I'm not an Apple "fanboy" but I do have an interest in technology. I knew coming into it that it didn't have flash support or any of the other features it lacks but that's why I have computers. This to me is not and will never be a replacement. It's just an additive.
Its great that they upped the megapixels on the rear camera but who takes pictures with this lunch tray anyway? It would have made more sense to fix the front facing camera seeing as they keep trying to push facetime. Other than that this works for me. Haven't activated the 4G yet but I will when I go on vacation in May.
I prefer android but it's just not there yet. Maybe next year but as of right now this is the best tablet you can get ahold of.
