Great alternative to more expensive iPod Touch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I snagged this during Black Friday weekend for only $99 dollars--it was a great steal! I bought it for my young teenage daughter to use basically as an inexpensive iPod Touch (the comparable price of a 32gb iPod Touch was double at $199!). Even at the regular price of $159 it's a great buy. We've been using it since Christmas day and it functions just as well (actually, the battery life is superior!) to the iPod Touch 6th generation we already have at home. We just didn't activate the phone, and it's no problem at all; it doesn't try to remind us to do it constantly (or ever, at all). We've had a couple of cheap prepaid Android phones (a couple of Samsungs and one LG) that we used the same way (didn't activate, just used with Wi-Fi) and those brands always would bother us with numerous prompts to activate the phone. iPhones don't do that at all. It is an excellent phone at an unbelievable price. I'm already planning to buy another one, just as an additional one to have because the price is so good.

The Classic iphone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great phone for a good price new. For those that love the iphone UI but not the price tag Total Wireless is selling the SE at a price way way below apple's price tag. Also, total wireless has given me good service in the one month I have been using them. The customer service is pathetic, but it is a budget company that happens to have good service. Additionally, the phone can be unlocked after 1 year of continuous service so theres always that route too. This is my plan, as I left my family plan to use total wireless with the intention of going back after they unlock. The lack of wireless tethering on TW is disappointing, but its also the norm on these kinds of service providers. That all being said, the SE is a solid phone with hardware that will serve anyone looking for a cheap way into the applesphere. With 32 GB of memory its enough for the basics and can hold many apps and run them with zero issues. Everything is here in the SE. Touch ID, a headphone jack! (the last model to feature this), a pair of headphones+charger included, great camera, amazing call quality. Overall I have been very pleased with this phone and service and couldn't ask for much more considering the price.

great phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know the phone is great and initially bought it for my 10 yr old son, however we ultimately had to return it because I wasn't aware it was tied to a total wireless prepaid deal. We bought it with intentions of adding to our current plan with Sprint. FYI for anyone looking to use total wireless should be very careful, the associate and manager I spoke with from that company was extremely rude. When the manager came on the line he said I understand my associate provided you with all your options and there is nothing else we can do and hung up. He didn't even let me state my name or concern. I wasn't even being rude with them to begin with.

Great Apple Intro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had iPod Touches before the phones came out, but I’ve had an Android since 2013-14. I’m trying out how I like iOS. Music syncing is way better, but it is still more buggy as a phone than I hear Apple fans admit. It seems to work smoother than my $100-$130 Androids with the exception that it seems to sometimes not register my touch, but I’m not sure if it’s a finger-placement problem or touchscreen problem. I like it, but it’ll take me a while to get used to a new OS.

Good phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review....except I use it as an iPod. I’m a Total Wireless customer so I bought the iPhone SE model, used my SIM card to get into the phone once I got all my accounts set up. Took my sim card and put it back in my actual phone. Why pay $199 for a 32 gig iPod when I can pay $159 for an iPhone and use it as an iPod. Which is what I really wanted. Battery life is good and does everything I need it for.

So far, so good.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Why pay for Verizon, when you can get Verizon for cheap? Total Wireless IS Verizon. So far, so good.

Great deal on Iphone 6se, great help from BB staff
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We wanted the Iphone 6, and at AT&T, we could make 24 months of payments for 2 Iphones totaling over $800. Then we saw this deal at Best Buy for the Iphone 6se ($159 per phone) great phone at a great price! Total Wireless offers competitive monthly service, and they are on Verizon's network. Also, the staff person at the Carbondale Best Buy was an angel. She walked us through the purchase and what accessories we would need, but was not pushy at all. Overall a great experience.

Easy to learn, not as easy to use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first iPhone, and I thought I would struggle a bit with getting to know it. Not so! Everything from iTunes to the app store to the settings was much easier to learn than any Android phone I've ever had. The practice was a bit more difficult. Firstly, this phone is small! I knew that going in, and it's my own fault, but be aware, it's hard to get used to. The second difficulty is the touch screen. Other phones touch screens are very sensitive, very easy to activate. Sometimes I feel like I'm having to beat on this screen to get anything to work. Those are my only problems though.

Couldn't activate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone is great and has potential. Unfortunately, I had to return it because it was locked. I use TING and this was not one of the AT&T prepaid carriers that you can use it with.

Great for the kids or an additional phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a great simple phone that is just what I need in the form of an iPhone. No plan and not a bad price.

Would be 5 stars if more memory was cheaper
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just wished apple allowed you to use your own Micro SD card or if the base model had more space, especially considering this thing records 4k. Should have shelled out for a 64gb model but other than that it is a great phone, the metal frame is more sturdy than my iPhone 5C, taken a few more falls but no problems with it, my 5C top button took a fall and now doesn't work so well.

Great smartphone.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A small phone that is easy to carry in a pocket. Easy to use for an older dude like me who has no smartphone skills. The camera is very easy to use quickly the photos are of good quality. I have a lot to learn but so far I am encouraged to keep experimenting.
