great leather case

I have been surprised how much protection it afforded my phone. My wife also had one on her phone and never had a problem either, despite numerous drops over the 2 years she had it and the two-three years I have used one. This is my 3rd phone using the Apple leather case. I love that it is thinner than the bulky silicone cases.

It’s not too thick so it fits in your pocket without leaving an outline, and it weathers BEAUTIFULLY. Over time it gets that weathered leather look, that is unique in a way. It provides moderate protection, I’ve dropped my phone multiple times, from various heights, on concrete, pavement, hard wood, etc. and while it may scratch up the phone I’ve never had damage.

You get what you pay for

I knew this case was expensive but if I bought it first I would have never spent money on 3 other cases. The leather will wear quick and show more damage, but that’s part of the charm. I love this case and they might be all I get for future phones.
