    My main purpose for getting the leather case for my iPhone X was to increase the "grip-ability" of the device. This is not for drop protection but more for prevention. This case is more slick than the naked device. This case will be returned as it is useless for my intended purpose. Note: My last three iPhones I used the same leather case and the 5 and 6 cases were phenomenal. The 7 less so but still good. This case is terrible.

    I see that most people love this case and I typically love Apple products, but not this one. First it's too slippery and the iPhone X is heavy. I'm afraid that I will drop the phone. Also, we got two. The one for my phone isn't shaped right so parts of the case are barely higher than the screen. Also there is no protection at the bottom front of the phone. It would be very easy the hit this part of the phone with something. This is like a beautiful shoe that is bad for your feet- we've all done that!
