First off, I don't like cases on any of my iPhones. However, since it cost $500+ to replace the glass on the back of the iPhone X, I figured it was worth getting some sort of case. The Apple Leather case is very nice. I love the buttons on the side since they are actual buttons. My two complaints: 1. I don't like how the mute button works. They just cut a hole in the side for you to turn it on/off and that is tough to get to. 2. The leather itself is not as "grippy" as the phone. It may get better over time as leather ages but I wish it was a little more grippy. I have heard the silicon case is better in this regard. Overall not a bad case.

Yes, this product is overpriced. It's a simple case with the complete bottom exposed. There's just something about it though... It's fantastic leather. Some may appall that but those who like fine design and the scent of well crafted goods will enjoy this. It is very thin, to the point that if I take the case off, besides the feel changing from leather to glass/aluminum, there's little change to the fit in the hand. That said, I think there's too much bulk around the silence toggle switch making it hard to flick it with a nail. The buttons work well through the case with a nice finish to them. And though the bottom seems to leave the phone unprotected on that side it's actually crafted really well just around the corners so that a direct drop onto the bottom of the phone still wouldn't damage the phone (on a flat, solid surface). A big selling point for me was the fact that the swipe down gesture was easier to perform this case because the bottom was open. That's a design point that I look for from Apple. I also like to buy the (Product)RED products if I buy Apple accessories since it's a beautiful red they offer and also it supports a cause. That said, if you're one wanting to accessorize, say, your iPhone and Apple Watch, it'll be better to buy in the same material. For example, I have the silicon (I know it's not silicon but just follow me) sport watch (product)RED band and the leather phone case. Not the best match. As expensive as the watchband is I don't see these ever being a pair in my wardrobe (I know, first world problems). The reason I went with the leather was a sale at the time that made it only $3 more than the silicon. For the feel of a leather case I thought the upgrade was worth it. This is a nice case. It's overpriced but there is design built into it that is overlooked in other generic cases. I like the color. It's not for everyone and perhaps you'd enjoy the silicon case better. Personally, I have no buyer's remorse.

The apple leather case ages so well when it gets that awesome patina. It’s not super protective especially the bottom which is left open. But if u don’t drop your phone it is a perfect complement to the phone

Of course, it is a perfect fit because it is made by Apple. The thing with other cases is they add a lot of bulk and that can feel like you don't have the newest phone but a brick from fifteen years ago. This doesn't add too much bulk. The new iPhones are so slick that I found my phone would slit right off the table or sofa when I set it down. this gives it just enough grip when placed face down that it doesn't slide around anymore. This is a great case.

Wow $1,000 for a phone? Why wouldn’t I wrap it in authentic Apple leathery goodness? Would you put hubcaps on a Ferrari? Probably not. So don’t put plastic on glass and surgical grade stainless steel.

Excellent quality leather protector. Great color not slippery and perfect protection. Rich feel to it.

As always, Apple delivers. High quality leather and fits the iPhone perfectly. Gives decent protection and has decent amount of grip AFTER, the leather breaks in. Initially, it's a little slippery.

I’ve been getting the black apple leather case since they started making them and I’m never disappointed. Looks good for a long time and never falls apart. They are the definition of Awesomeness

I feel very good having this phone case, knowing that Product (RED) supports Aids Awareness. Whatever little difference we can make can help push the boulder of change that much further. The quality is great and the color is beautiful. I’ve had the case for some time and the leather has aged quite nicely. I would definitely recommend. I love Apple and this case matches the quality of their amazing technology.

I’ve had this case for a month and my oils are already starting to darken the leather. Smells like my childhood baseball glove. I get many compliments on how unique my leather case looks.

Looks- this case looks great on my iPhone X in silver. At first I wasn’t sure about the color. But after you slide it on to the silver iPhone. Wow !!! FIT- fits great ! Again Apple designed the phone and they case . It’s a perfect match. And the open bottom shows off the cool metal silver band. PROTECTION-good against scratching and small out of pant pockets drop. However you’ll never see this case in a drop test video.

The leather case is nice and sleek, and gives a great accent to the iPhone X, the case is nice to the touch and fashionable. The cutouts are perfect and are soft to the press, most cases are hard and hurt your hands. Overall good case to buy and it will last

This case is exactly what the iPhone X needs! nothing too bulky or flashy. Nice, subtle leather case with enough lip to protect the screen from those face down falls. Great product!

I was a little worried about scuffing, but it has worn nicely. Probably not a ton of protection, but it absorbs some shock and prevents simple scratching from dragging on things.

I received and iPhone X for an early Christmas gift. This is an amazing case for the iPhone the leather is beautiful and soft to the touch but great protection as well!!!

For a no-frills, minimal yet great feeling and looking case, you really can't beat the Apple Case. It isn't sticky grip, but it also is a bit non-slip. It looks great and professional. There's nothing else to it, it's designed well, very rigidly formed, great thought and design into the metal-yet-beautifully-colored buttons, and stands up to use and long-lasting. Great leather feel. I love leather.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. It’s a classy case and the leather is very nice and the color is cool. He gets compliments on it all the time.

I usually buy the brand Caseology - I actually did, used it for an hour and decided it wasn’t the right look for the iPhone X. So, the Apple case won the day.
