Coming from the iPhone 7 this is a great upgrade. It has a bigger screen but not too big like the plus versions. The screen is clearer, the camera is way better, its faster and the battery life last longer. Worth the upgrade especially if you can catch it on sale.

I had an iphone 6s that wouldn't hold the charger anymore so it needed to be replaced. I've only had this phone a week, and I haven't used the camera yet. So, what's better? The screen is bigger. The face recognition is cool. Four times as much storage. Best of all, the battery charge lasts noticeably longer. It's a nice phone and I like it, but if my 6s was still working, the improvements would not be enough to get me to switch and to cough up the asking price.

Larger screen & very sharp, easy to read characters than 7 Plus. Camera has BETTER backlight scene capability = I already have some AWESOME BEAUTIFUL WINTER SUNRISE shots. Posted them to Facebook, many “likes & comments”! Face ID & faster processors are AWESOM.

super easy to set up. 3 weeks using now and not one issue at all. screen looks great. takes awesome pictures. all apps run smoothly and fast. battery life looks to be really good. not bad at all :)

The battery life is much improved over last iPhone. The processor is really fast. Videos are crisp and clear. Camera is nice. No complaints other that I wish it was a little smaller and lighter, but I knew those details when I made the purchase.

The three wow factors - 1) larger. more vivid screen; 2) outstanding camera; and 3) facial recognition. The battery appears to be lasting longer as well. At this time, I'm not aware of any negatives. I previously owned an iPhone 6.

I upgraded from a 5s to the iPhone XR and what a difference it has been! The new swipe (no home button) issue is a non issue for me. I got used to it in about 5 minutes. The phone is lightening fast and does everything it claims. The larger phone/screen took a little getting used to, but really, I was so far behind the times with my little 5s that the new size actually is really nice. It isn't too big like some of those other tablet sized phones! So far, it is perfect! It doesn't have a headphone jack, but honestly I rarely listen to anything with headphones anyway so that is a non issue for me. I got the adapter, just in case, but haven't used it yet. Otherwise, there are a couple other little things to get used to (side button rather than top, face recognition to open screen, etc) but nothing has been negative. You really get used to it pretty quickly so I don't understand why some reviewers made such an issue about these changes. I personally love it and am so happy I made the leap, finally! Cost was pretty high, but Best Buy was giving $100 off the day I bought it so I figured what the heck.... I had my old phone over 4 years, if I divide this cost out about 4 years too, then it really isn't that much on an annual basis.

I have owned several iPhones including the 4s, 5s, and SE before this one and this is the best yet. I first thought it would be difficult for me going from a smaller phone but this was not an issue. It is fast and I love the facial recognition feature. The battery is great. With my previous iPhone SE, I occasionally went down to under 20% during the day. Now I rarely get below 60%. I highly recommend this phone.

The Apple iPhone XR has been a pleasure to own from my previous Andriod phone. Ease of use, Battery Life, Screen size, and awesome pictures it has captured has really been a much needed upgrade.

This phone is just right for me. The increased size is great, not too big or small. But I can read everything so much better now. I wasn’t sure about the facial recognition, but I love it. Just get it near your face and - bam it’s open. The camera is insane! Every shot looks professional. Only downside is regular earphones don’t fit in the slot, you have to use the Apple ones they include in the box, or go wireless. I don’t like the Apple earphones so that’s my one negative. It was a lot of money, but I’m really happy with it.

Upgraded my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to iPhone XR. I’m an Android girl, but needed to switch for work compatibility reasons. I love this phone. It’s just the right size. Took a little getting used to no home button. The display is excellent. The battery life is outstanding. The camera takes great pictures. I love the coral color. I’m very happy with my purchase.

We got this for my mom when she was hoping for a bigger screen and a larger battery in her phone. She was also looking to have take better photos on her phone. This phone looks great, well, has fantastic battery, and takes beautiful pictures. It meets all f her expectations and even exceeds some. She actually upgraded this from an iPhone X and she does not notice the difference in the transition from OLED screen back to the LCD and did not use enough of the 3D Touch features to miss the ones not available with haptic touch. The only thing she does miss is that this phone does not have optical zoom, but that is small compared to the things she gained out of buying the XR.

I am loving my new iPhone XR!! It is fast, the battery is great, great camera. Love the color!! Love the facial recognition feature and am having fun playing with new features!!

I upgraded from my iphone 7 plus to this phone. I have nothing but positive things to say about it. Size: Fits right in my hand plus screen size is optimal for all users Colors: comes in a color the suits everyone. I got Coral and I love it even more than I thought i would. iOS: works great on this phone, its fast responsive and everything I wanted. Camera: fantastic camera and portrait mode is killer! Battery life: the best in the iphone market right now. THIS IS THE BEST IPHONE YET :)

I had been reading about the XR for about a month or so, and thought this hit the sweet spot of having most of the functions of the more expensive XS and XS Max at a better price. Coming from a 7 Plus, I have no issue with the screen, and I never used 3D touch a lot, so I don't really miss it. I think the pictures are just fine, plus having more colors for the XR tipped the scales for me toward it.

Finally decided it was time to upgrade. Switched from Android to iPhone XR. Was a great move and wish I had done this sooner. Love the face ID security feature. Battery life is much better. The camera on this phone is amazing. Still learning about all the features but so far loving everything. On the fence with searching, finding and installing new apps but overall I am extremely happy I switched to the iPhone XR. Will not be going back to Android.

I love,love,love my new iPhone XR in the color red. I love the color with the Apple logo and the size. It's light and easy to carry. Easy on the eyes,much easier to see than my previous iPhone 6s. Pictures are way better, much more clarity. Huge improvement from the old. Easier to take pictures,text and make calls. I love all the new features it has. Battery last alot longer and I like the battery station to charge it on. It's so quick and easy.

Great new phone for people who want a great camera and large display. No home button takes some getting used to. Some features not really needed (retinal lock). Battery life does well. Overall a great phone with lots of storage.

We bought three iPhone XR. Great design and larger than the iPhone 6 we had. Love the new camera. The phone has lots of storage and is super fast.

After owning the iPhone Xs for about 8 months I just couldn't justify the price when I tried out the significantly cheaper Xr. First, it's bigger but not as big as the Xs Max. While it doesn't have the OLED screen the Xs has I feel like it's easier on the eyes. Battery life is also significantly more. Finally, Apple Care is cheaper than the Xs. I do miss the 3D Touch, but not enough. If you are looking for the best iPhone this is it. The Xs simply isn't work the price when you can get basically the same phone in the cheaper Xr.
