iPx case re imagined but has same flaw
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty much similar to the iPx design where there is a crucial flaw in the design... The leather case uses a metallic wire around the rim. This metal wire was exposed on my case and causes scratches to my phone's metallic sides. It is also sharp enough where it scratches skin and can damage clothing it comes in contact with. Apple care does not cover either the damage to the phone cause by their own case due to their choice in design and materials. nor does it cover the replacement case, despite both being within the warranty period. My device has no other scratched visible to the naked eye except for what the apple case has caused. I have had leather cases before and this is the first time I have seen this happen. How can something meant to protect have an element which does damage instead.
