This iPod is thinner than the previous model, a big improvement over its predecessor, plus it includes Bluetooth! It is not big enough to be much of a video player, but can work in a pinch. The contrast isn't great when held at an angle, The addition of a home button is a big plus. Glad I made the upgrade!

I received this as a gift and really enjoy its compact size, length of battery and quality of sound. I can now put this in an armband and work out without having the cumbersome size of the cell phone.

I am 70 and new to this technology. Had to make several calls to Apple to figure out how to download my music from my computer onto this I-pod. Apparently my computer program of windows media player would not sync the music even though it had a spot to do this. I had to go through I-tunes and apple to download a software program then put my computer music on this unit. Still have not figured out how I will add more to it. Has 16 gb or up to 4000 songs. Has other 5 things on this that I haven't figured out as yet. All in all, guess it is good and still need to figure out how to remove those songs I don't want to listen to most of the time. Guess it is more calls to Apple.

I purchased this product from Walmart along with the Ematic 11-in-1 Universal Accessory Kit for iPod and MP3 Players w/ Portable Speaker . The positives: it's small and compact and nice looking. I purchased the blue color. Just like any other mp3 it plays music. The negatives: If you have a big music library for example 5,000 albums. You'll have to convert it on Itunes and it takes about 1 minute and 30 seconds a album. Example 10 full albums would take about 13 minutes. If doesn't even recognize if the song was synced before it synced the same song 4 times to my ipod nano. Basically you are forced to use the Itunes software which lacks so many features. I had to reconnect the ipod 5 times on just 8 albums. After 1 album sync it would automatically disconnect.. If you have a small music library and want to buy songs for $.99 cents to $1.29 off of Itunes it may be for you. If you have a large music library as i do 10,000 + orginal albums it's a mess. This was a product re-designed just for looks. There is no quality here or anything special about this mp3 player. It will break 1 album into 5 different albums if more than 1 artist is featured in the song, so everything from one album will be scattered everywhere, it's a mess. Example: if you Sync a full Lil Wayne album and he has a song with Drake, or Birdman, it will not appear as one album it will be scattered as three albums in your Ipod. So imagine 7 different artist on 1 album the Ipod nano will sync 1 album, scattered as 7 different albums. You can't use WIndows media player to sync your music, for example if you have 1,000 albums on Windows media player, Apple makes its product to not recognize it. This product comes with no instructions manual what so ever. It has no time display of the remaining song. It has no feature to erase the internal drive after you have added music. The Built-in Nike+ support for voice feedback and syncing to nikeplus.com is a joke. I tried it sitting on the coach and let it run for 30 miinutes and it said my run distance was 1.3 miles after i stopped it. This feature is such a joke and scam. The bluetooth is very poor. It didn't even recognize my bluetooth headphones. I could probably go on for days and I've only had this product for 1 day, I will be returning it. The lack of features is nowhere close worth its price. I would not recommend this product. I'm very disappointed. I was really looking forward to enjoying it. I don't think i will ever buy a Apple product again. It's just a overrated mp3 player that lacks so many features and the only nice thing is the compact size and color if you choose a color you like.

I bought this as a gift for my wife. It is a lot smaller than the Touch but gets the job done. The only downside is this DOES NOT have WiFi.

This 7th generation ipod is great for running. I only took off one star for the lightning connector and not coming with an adapter for the older pin design. Other than that it's great.

Like the sleek/compact size. Cool touch screen feature.

The nano is sleek, simple and really durable. I use it when I workout mainly and it's a great gym companion.

I bought this as a gift for my aunt and she is not a technology user and she managed to learn how to use it really soon. It was perfect for her because she has a car with Bluetooth incorporated.

You get 16gb and Apple quality. I'm happy with it. Very easy to set up & I like the minimalism to it. I don't need all the apps and internet, and it serves it's purpose as a music player perfectly. However, the one I got died in under 10hrs initially when I bought it & it's supposed to last around 30hrs. I'm going to exchange it and hope the new one doesn't have the same problem. I still have an ipod which I bought 6yrs ago, and it works fine, but the battery always sucked and still does. I'l be sure to avoid having an ipod that doesn't live up to it's battery life again. BUT, don't let that scare you. Get it!!

Great apple product, 7th Gen is an upgrade from 6th, for sure. It is sort of a throwback to 5th Gen. I also got it on discount, so take a look at Best Buy from time to time for a sale. Touch screen a +

I bought this recently for my brother and he just loves it!! He finds it better than the previous gen ipod which he used earlier. Am happy that I got it and would recommend this to others!!

Great for working out and playing in the car. It plugs right into my computer for ease of songs upload. It's much better than carrying around several CDs.

Love my iPod nano. Can't wkout without it! Easy to carry, easy to download music. Tracks my calories burned and keeps a history.

I love this product it is easy to use sound quality is great my only criticism is the audiobook feature does not allow you to 'rewind'
