It's OK - I Only Want It To Play Music

I don't like that it has access to all of my apps - I have an iPhone for that. When I work out, I don't bring my phone, but my phone rings through my iPod. When I play music without earbuds, it sounds like analog. My phone plays music clearer than my IPod. And, I wonder if all that it has with apps, pictures and videos - is it taking away space from my music?
