Our house is filled with Apple products. I recently purchased this product for someone who is not tech savvy, but needed something to sync her fitbit. This product works great and she is very happy!! She is learning to text using iMessage, Facetime, and sync her fitbit. This is a perfect product for her to start using and get used to different tech products!

Our 11 year old loves music and she'd had a sweet pea for many years. AAfter they changed the design and software for the worse, we were back in the market for a new player. It holds plenty of music plus some music videos, is relatively easy for her to use (though she has managed to delete some songs off without meaning to; we just added them back), and has an external speaker with adequate volume without headphones. She loves it, so we do too.

My 11 year old uses this for texting and games. She loves it and it’s very user friendly

my son asked for a new ipod touch to replace the 4th gen he got a couple of years ago, it still works but the battery drains quickly and it wasn't compatible with some new games? this one has a better camera and some kind of panoramic shot? he's very happy, so I am too

Great product for my daughter who does not have a smart phone. she is able to download apps, play games, Facetime with friends and use the camera. Would give 5 stars if the product came with a wall charger for the USB cord. You have to purchase a wall charger separately.

This is a great device for a kid who loves music and playing with apps and games but who’s not quite ready for a phone. FaceTime app works with any other Apple product that has FaceTime on it — so I can face time with my kids as long as they are on a Wi-Fi hotspot. Saving adding another phone to the cellphone plan for just a little longer...

We bought this for my daughter to upgrade from a 4th generation that she was frustrated with because some games no longer worked due to being old. This new model is fast, really slim and has a lot better screen. My daughter absolutely loves it.

great product. I still loving having an ipod touch even though I have an iphone. Great for people like me who prefer to have their music and games separate from their phone

Starting listening to books, found LAPL had app for audio books. Technology challenged, my old pod was slow, old. I can download or stream 15 books monthly, plus takes great pics and facetime...for this traveler, excellent!

I bought this for it's mp3 aspects but the other perks are a plus. If you don't have a wifi nearby, 90% of the stuff on it will not work. Hard to set up folders with the music the way I want them, does not have a drag and drop feature for computer to Ipod. There are a number of hoops to jump through first. Once set up it is a great player ! Just make it a little bit simpler for us common folks.

Pros: Great display. Improved camera/video with slow motion. Fast processing speeds. Ability to use apple music. My daughter loves it! Cons: No SD card slot/only 16GB of storage - it's a music player at heart with only WIFI - c'mon Apple, storage is cheap these days. Pricey - wait for a deal Overall very happy. It's a toss up to me between this and an ipad mini 2. If the deals are right they are similar in price. My daughter wanted something she could put in her pocket.

Compared to the cost of a smart phone, this little item is a great value. Can send text messages, view podcasts, news videos, listen to music, free app downloads, games to pass the time while waiting in the doctor's office etc or for car repairs, nice photos from built-in cameras, capture family moments on video, very comfortable in the hand (not too big to hold for hours). Only problem is that the software which should allow you to switch from vertical to horizontal viewing got stuck in the vertical position. Won't budge and I've only had it 1 1/2 months. Nothing's perfect.

I bought the I Pod to take some of the stress off using my phone all the time while out and about. The I pod touch is awesome and about as full featured as you can get, it's integration with I tunes and other devices is great, The price is a great feel for the features you get.

I purchased a blue iPod for my sons birthday and we were super pleased with it! My boyfriend has the 1st generation iPod and was due for an upgrade so for his birthday we had to buy him one as well!!! Great purchase and it was on sale so we decided to upgrade to more gigs for 10$ less than what the 16gigs was originally!!!

My daughter likes it very much. I didn't want to buy iPhone and have to pay for internet. IPod works perfectly using Wi-Fi as phone and she uses it for the games and music too.

My husband bought this product. He is not very tech savvy but with the help of 2 of our granddaughters he is learning! He has even been face-timing one of them. Unfortunately he had a bad experience with a member of your Geek Squad who made him feel like he was an idiot! We won't try that again!

I bought this as a gift for my 11 year old granddaughter. The only experience I have with it is setting it up, which was quite easy. She loves it! It enables her to text, which I love! The only negative I have is that she won't put it down.

I got my iPod way faster than I had anticipated and it was everything I wanted! Great camera coupled with an aesthetic appearance. It's lightweight so I carry it around in my pocket, everywhere I go. I use it as a recorder in my classes.

Our little son kept using our iPhones so we decided to get him a iPod. He loves it! Works great and we love the color! We downloaded 3 movies for him to select from if we're not in a wi-fi area and a few learning games... just perfect!
