My older son received a iPhone for Christmas. My younger son had an iPad, but wanted to look like his brother. We got him the iPod for Christmas and it is perfect. Fits in his pocket and looks like a phone. Great sound and gaming!

Bought 1 for each of my 9 year old grandkids. It was such a hit that I bought 2 more. One for a little girl in intensive care with pancreatic cancer and one for her family so that they could facetime since she was not allowed visitors. It allowed her to communicate with her family and friends.

Wonderful product!! I previously had an older version of the Ipod touch, but the screen cracked when it was dropped. It would cost me just as much to repair the old one as to buy a new one. I bit the bullet and purchased a new one and I am loving every moment of it. Such an amazing product.

I purchased the IPod touch for my 7 year old and it has been great. She kept wanted to use our phones to watch Netflix or play games, and at times it got in the way to make important phone calls. Technology is a main part of our lives now and I think this is a great ay for her to watch her Netflix and play games without it actually being a cell phone.

Very light weight and easy to use while working out or just hanging out. The camera takes great photos as well.

Seems like a good start for a young kid instead of a cell phone. I can use find my iPhone, we can face time, text and he loves the other functions! Downloading music, games & lots of other things kid related....

this ipod touch 16GB is working great, i know like most you don't want to spend $$$ on replacing these but this was a great buy, i was able to transfer all my song via itunes in less than 30 min and up and working great, id recommend a case for it

Bought as gift. Didn't know if 16G was enough. Apparently PLENTY of room for music and video. Wife loved it. Sleek design, easy to use.

Bought iPod for my 5 yr old and he loves it! It's easy to learn how to use and he loves it for games videos texting and FaceTime! It's almost like a phone he can carry it whenever it's small enough for convenience and big enough for gaming. Would definitely recommend!

I own a iPhone 6s Plus but I purchased my iPod Touch for the purpose of using it in the gym. I downloaded all my workout tunes to my iPod and use it exclusively in the gym. It is a great device. I love all Apple products because of how seamlessly they work together.

Bought and then it failed. I bought the unit at the local Best Buy store and with less than 2 months of use, the unit would not power on or anything, I tried all the secret steps and no boot up. I returned to the same local BB store. The in-house Apple rep could not get it to boot up either. He tried an in-store swap but all they had was pink. He assisted me in getting me to take it to the one of the local Apple stores where after 2 visits i was given a brand new replacement unit. Thank You Best Buy and Apple for supporting your product. The unit works great for my workout routines. The sound is awesome and the UI is easy to use and understand. The unit weighs almost nothing compared to my 12 yr old IPOD from the dinosaur ages. I would recommend this product to anyone.

My nephew has been whining about getting a cell phone. But the IPod touch fit the bill. He can text, FaceTime and play all kinds of games on the apps he downloaded! And no need for me to worry about him going over his data plan or being tied to a 2 year contract!

This iPod is easy to use. The sound is pretty good. You can download apps for games and such. The camera is good also. I would recommend it to family and friends.

This is the perfect device for my 10 almost 11 year old daughter. She loves music and desperately thinks she needs a cell phone. The Apple products have two perfect features. The Imessage which can only be used between Apple products without a cellular plan. Second is the ability to email to anyone as long as you have a WiFi connection. To review no monthly fees or scary bills as you can set parent control. My daughter was crazy excited. It serves her needs and as parents we can find out if she is responsible enough to have an actual phone in a year or so. We also bought and recommend buying a very tough case as the Touch is small and fragile in your hands. If you are on the fence I could not recommend this any more for a kid in this age. Plus I love getting emails from her after school while I finish out my work day. You can also surf the web and it takes nice pictures.

I am a warehouse worker that likes games and listening to music. I needed something small and compact that I could take to work but that would not take too much space in my lunch box. Ipod 6 Gen works really good plus the new color are much better looking.

The itouch is great for music. I did't want to use my phone for music and the itouch was a perfect choice. It's easy to learn and it's also lightweight.

Got it for granddaughter, she has a reading disability and using the ipod to text is helping her to slow down and read & spell her words plus the games are fun! Gets on line easy and easy to use

I was able to price match Toys R Us and get this gem for $175. It replaced an iPhone 4 that we dropped our phone service plan on. The Retina display is gorgeous. Apps load fast, picture are very clear, even in doors. The flash is great, and all of my favorite apps works on it. Great entry level device for people wanting to step into iOS. Also receive many compliments on the shiny blue back.

She loved it and was happy to be able to use it to connect with her friends, listen to the music she loves and play games.
