My daughters (who are too young for phones) wanted to have iPods to be able to message family and play games so we purchased this as an early Christmas gift. They are very happy with them and they do everything they were hoping. The only downside is that the battery life is pretty disappointing. I presume because the iPod is maybe designed for music and not games. Not sure, but it definitely drains way faster than I anticipated.

Bought for my 11 year old daughter's birthday and she loves it. Can play games, music, internet and everything she needs in a small and portable package!

Bought this for my husband. We both have iPods and love them. We use them mostly for our music collection, but it also takes great pics and videos. Crisp and vivid. Plenty of space. One of the best inventions ever lol.

This is my third iPod Touch, and I was upgrading from a 3rd generation one. What a difference! Although it has no more memory than my previous Touch, it processes everything much more quickly. It also has more of a wide-screen aspect ratio. I didn't think I would like this at first, but it makes viewing web pages much easier and would be great for watching videos.

My daughter loves her iPod touch. It has everything phones have without needing a calling and data plan! She actually found a math app that is fun and helped her master her multiplication tables. She takes pictures and videos and can even call us with apps as long as she is on wifi.

Easy to setup, and use for my six year old daughter. Availability of different colors was an attraction also.

We got this for my preteen as a way to communicate with us without having the expenses of a cell phone or phone bill. She loves it. She can communicate with her friends, listen to music and play games but has the convenience of it being in her back pocket.

Needed a bigger memory and this one has it and it is a very nice one.

Smaller lighter and performs better than the old ipod. Really good bluetooth operation.. Easy to use!

Great newer and faster iPod than previous generation. The 32G gives you plenty of space for all your needs.

The camera is great, the gold kinda looks rose gold which can be good or bad but I was expecting gold gold.

Recommend, good alternative to iPhone for kids, if you are just looking for games and Internet using wife.
