This product is a great Apple product to provide a child. My 9 year old is very smitten with it. She uses it to facetime, record videos, and watch YouTube. However, it is not a tough device. It is easy to drop due to it being very light and slick. Additionally, avoid any exposure to water. When this got wet due to an accident, we almost had to replace it. I had to dry it out, clean components that oxidized ENTIRELY too quickly, and eventually got it working again.

iPod 6 is sleek and fast with a decent camera. Enjoy

Ipod works great. Battery life should be a little longer when blue tooth is on in my opinion but is OK when it is turned off.

It is exactly what i was looking for to upgrade from older model and is slim and easily transferred all my stuff without issues.

upgraded from my 5th generation ipod. runs and loads much faster. 5th generation stopped getting ios updates. so far the version on the 6th gen is the current one, which is great. for a media player, its fantastic. has more features than ill ever use, but its nice to have the option

I brought this for my 8 yr old and she loves it!!!

I had to return the first one due to battery problems. No problem with exchange and so far it is working as expected.

Not much to say if you’ve owned an iPod before. Apple makes a great product. Perfect for a child that isn’t quite ready for a cell phone yet. Since we have apple devices, we can text and FaceTime each other as long as the iPod has WiFi service. Nice to keep in touch with each other.

Only reason i didn't give 5 stars was battery life is disappointing....other than that everything else is top notch.

In all honesty, iPods haven't changed much in functionality for a long time. They still do the same stuff, and they do it really well. This made a great Christmas gift for my child. 32 GB is the smallest size I would go though - otherwise you run into not-enough-space issues, and there's no memory-expansion slot.

I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift. It took less than 5 mins. to get my son up and rolling with this thing. I'm pretty impressed with the performance of this thing, so far no problems. I got this product so that he could contact family members vice-versa instead of adding an additional line to my cell.
