Bought this for my 11 year old son so that he could start learning the responsibilities of having a phone. He will use this for a couple years and can use it to call or text using wifi.

I purchased as a replacement for one that I couldn't get to turn on. Tried several plug/wire/outlet combinations. As soon as I returned home and husband touched old one-beast turned on. Grrr

For me it is the perfect mobile device. With it have access to my calendars, notes, pictures, and a host of other information that have and can get via Wi-Fi. I really cannot get along without it.

Not ready to buy a phone for my 13 y/o yet - so we replaced her old iPod with a new one. Plenty of wifi in the world to keep in touch with her as well as she can have her music, instagram, snapchat and games.

Purchased this iPod for my daughter so she could listen to music and be able to text the parents when they weren't home. This has worked out well as there is no home phone. She is able to use this at school as well which has allowed communication if parents are running late. She's not quite ready for a phone but this is a good beginning.

I can now store most of my apps on here instead of my phone.

I was long overdue for an update on my iPod touch 2nd generation. After using this new one for just a few days I can't believe I didn't get it sooner. Battery life is amazing and everything works really fast.

Got as a gift for a family member works for what it does.

My 12 year old daughter is thrilled with this iPod--much of the functionality of an iPhone and with no costly monthly fee. It enabled us to kick the can down the road a bit as to a fulll-blown phone for her.

It's an Apple product so ther isn't much to complain about.

I bought this to replace my previous iPod 1, yes that is what I said iPod 1. This was a much needed upgrade for me. As far as it goes this is as expected. Much faster and a larger viewing area.

I was happy with it even though it didn't create a temporal displacement bubble through which I could travel to the cretaceous period and check out some dinosaurs. Still, good product.
