Battery life is great and charges quick

After over 150 hours of use the WiFi connectivity wears a little bit and processing slows down. Over good.

It was wonderful. But now?

I went to charge it yesterday (1/11/17) and it won't charge or connect to my computer. I tried to plug it into many different USB ports on my computer and chargers. I even bought a brand new Lightning cable. The device has never been dropped, wet or abused. I tried to use Apple's online tech support and all I get is try back later. It's pretty disappointing that this unit barely lasted a year.
