I had this thing for 2 months, hardly used it (maybe 5 hours? ) and it won't charge, won't turn on, nothing. I didn't get the warranty because I bought the life proof case, I wasn't expecting it to break without being physically damaged. Bummer.

In less than a year, the ipod shut off and would not turn back on. Took it to the apple store and they said battery was dead and replaced the ipod. Within 2 months the same thing happened with the new one. Have not made it back to apple store yet.

Born bad but not great. Decent enough for the price.

Purchased this for as a gift. Recommend this for Apple beginners.

No real difference between this and my old touch 5.

I had to buy this one because the two older ones I have are now obsolete and I cannot put music on them. Now the new ones are so complicated, I haven't been able to put any more music on. It took all the songs from my account but I'm not giving up.

I would buy it again my grandson is too young for an I phone but the I pod fit the bill. He can basically do everything but make phone calls. It will even allow him to track his Fitbit.

Since we got this iPod it has been terrible won’t hold a charge dies after 30 minutes of use and then we plug it in and shows it’s fully charged after 15 minutes

We have taken the ipod to the apple store due to the battery not lasting long, and it's still not working right. You can't use it unless it's plugged into the charger

Bought for my daughter and kept draining the battery quickly. Took it in and they changed it, still same issues.

Bought to listen to music while cutting my grass. First time I used it, music by a group I did not choose started playing and I couldn't stop it. Going to have to get someone in my family to take a look at it.

This item replaced my son’s older iTouch. The battery however has been an issue since purchase - doesn’t hold charge no matter how long it is plugged in.

i replaced it twice because it wouldnt hold a charge , I ended up buying an Ipad mini, thats what I should be getting points for

I have had trouble with it from the start Its a poorly made product and its nowhere near thw quality of the one that I purchased 4 years ago the quality has gone down

Seems like it only holds a charge for about an hour. Very disappointed. Wont be buying apple again.

This was purchased as a gift. Unfortunately, it is way larger than the Nano, which is apparently discontinued. The person receiving it did return it.

I got this to play music during my workouts. After I had to take it back to get help b/c it wouldn't let me finish registering it, it sent me a code by phone when I got phone. I typed it in and said code wasn't valid. Had them send me another code and the same thing happened. That's where I am at the moment. After owning the I pod for over a month, I still am using my phone at the gym and have yet to use it.

It kept a messing up not keeping charges and only lasted about 2 years before dying
