    Useful Apple Product

The Apple - iPod touch® 32GB MP3 Player is a wonderful piece of technology and really has a great deal of functions. I like the fact that this Apple Ipod comes in a variety of colors, it is very user-friendly and the battery life is decent compared to some media players. I like the fact that the display is 4-inches and you can see your apps very clearly and the processor is fairly quick when going online to the internet. The camera also is an 8MP which takes very clear photographs and has high-quality videos. In addition, Apple has a very fair price point on this particular IPOD. Would highly recommend to others in the market for a music streaming device along with other features that are user-friendly.

Software is so laggy. Screen is too small for gaming. A used iPhone is a much better option.

I have an iPhone, but I have one of these beside my bed for nighttime reading while my husband is asleep. It's small enough that if I fall asleep with it in bed, it puts itself to sleep and in the morn I find it in the sheets. I was afraid I might damage my more $$ iPhone, and a kindle or iPad is too big. I've had several iPod touches and none have suffered damage, but I'm sticking to the plan. This latest upgrade is much faster for surfing the web.

It's a Nice Player but Overpriced and has Drawback

This 32 Gig player only holds about 18 Gigs of music. That's with absolutely nothing but the startup files that came on the player and never connected to the internet. Its very expensive. It locks up on occasion. I like the Apple music service and have spent a considerable amount of money there. Usually everything goes smoothly but if you have a problem the Apple people are egotistical, bureaucratic and sometimes wrong or clueless. I don't trust their hardware warranty service. I have heard of them shipping back faulty reconditioned product. On a more positive note, the interface is nicely user friendly. The Ipod runs fast. You can speedily move through a large list of singles and create a playlist with ease. I am disappointed to spend so much money on a 32 gig device that only holds 18 gigs of music. However if you have and want to spend that much money on this it is a nice player. If I was to do it again I would save up for the 64 gig. I would also be interested in going with another brand but it does not look like there is much in quality devices just to play music. When I say I would recommend this to a friend that's only because of the lack of decent alternatives.

Good iPod (although I miss the iPod classic)

    Posted .

After 8 1/2 years of faithful service, my trusty iPod Classic (which I purchased at the Best Buy in Savannah GA on Labor Day weekend, 2008) finally died and went to iPod heaven (the battery died, and it wouldn't work, even plugged in) . I went to buy a new one, and was disappointed they no longer made the iPod classic, so I bought the Touch (I had thought of buying the Nano, but it had only 16 gigs of storage, not enough for my needs). The Touch is really more than I need. I have a smartphone and a tablet that has all the apps that I want to use. All I wanted was something to play my music, which the Classic did really well. However, I must say, the Touch has some features that I really like. When browsing your music, there is an alphabet on the side that enables you to go to songs or artists that begin with that letter (on the Classic, you had to scroll through them). I also like how you can choose to sort your albums by date, rather than just by title. Also, when playing a song, there's a window in the bottom that shows what's playing, so you can browse through your collection, and then slide the window up so you can go back to the song. The only thing that was a bit off-putting was that when I initially downloaded my songs, some of them were not listed where I were on my old iPod. It turns out that iTunes has a listing for album artist in addition to artist, and if there is an entry for album artist, the iPod will list the song by that instead of artist (I basically had to go into iTunes and delete all the entries for album artist so the songs would appear in the artist list as they were originally.

Its ok, Generation 3 was better

So my old Generation ipod touch 3 died and i got this one to replace it. Have to say, disappointed in it. The speed is good, music is great, battery is HORRIBLE. Legit like HORRIBLE. I charged it fully, walked my lake for 2 hours. Used about 1/2 battery just for that. Went to truck next day, it was dead, needed to be charged up again. My old one i could leave around for days and it wouldnt die. Even today, i charged it up and brought to work, legit everything is turn off on it, no wifi, no sync, nothing but blutooth is on. Between 4pm to 7pm, the battery went from 100% to 74% and it wasnt used while i was at work. Double checked, everything is till off, so battery just drains way to quick. Stick with g4 or g3. My guess is this was done so u have to buy a apple battery case or extender or charger.

    Excellent product/bad Geek Squad protection

Purchased this for my niece when her 5th generation Ipod started having problems. She loves it. I have GSP on the 5th generation, so I was sent a refurbished model. Unfortunately not only was the home button broken on the refurbished model, all of the previous owner's information was still on it. So now I am waiting for a replacement for the replacement. With the way Geek Squad handles the warranties for Ipods, I'd avoid buying it.
