Very fast access to internet and all apps and features even with Amazon installed apps. It works seamlessly with other devices.The screen is very clear. It is a great replacement for the nano and larger size is barely noticeable, extra features are well worth the small increase i price $50 for a 16gb player.

My iPod Nano, which I loved for its size, capacity and ease of use, died after many years of constant use. It was the perfect size to put in your pocket, didn't need an armband for exercising, and fit nicely in my car system because it had a jack which my iPhone doesn't have. I was really, really annoyed at Apple for discontinuing that size and after looking at possible replacements from other vendors, none came even close. Not in the same universe even. I really hated putting out that much money for a Touch. I'd had one a long time ago and it was nice, but slightly bulky and heavy. Figuring I could always bring it back if I hated it, I got one on sale. Being that I'm already in the Apple IOS universe, loading it with all my playlists, and even apps, was a cinch. If you already have an iPhone or iPad, iOS will set everything up for you just as you have it on either device. All the settings, passwords, everything...done. However, what surprised me was its size, weight and capacity. It's still larger than the Nano (curse you Apple) but I like it. It charges quickly, holds its charge well, and looks pretty slick. Here's what I didn't expect...it has an ACTUAL JACK for my headphones so I can plug it into my car system. I really didn't want to like it and I'm still concerned that it won't be as rugged as the little Nano ( I can see me dropping it on its lovely screen which required getting a screen protector), but even if they made the Nano, I'd still like this for its capacity and other benefits the Nano didn't have.. Oh yeah, being in the Apple universe, if my iPhone rings while I'm listening to music or somewhere where I don't have my phone, I can answer the call on my Touch. Okay, the Nano couldn't do that.

Does nearly everything the iPhone does at a portion of the price. The only thing it doesn’t have is the phone capability. It has helped keep my iPhone storage a little more clear, so that it runs faster. I enjoy the Bluetooth capability that quickly syncs with my vehicle too!

Looking for something for my son and this was perfect. Even though he already had a IPad this was perfect and compact and just what he wanted. He is 6 and this was great already emailing more and face timing his grandparents. Great trainer for the near future cell phone that he will be wanting.

This was actually very similar to the 5th generation iPod Touch in size and appearances but it does run a bit faster and can do more. It is faster and more stable with apps that would crash in the previous generation iPod Touch. You can take the case from an iPod Touch 5th generation and put this new 6th generation iPod Touch in it and it fits without a problem. I personally like that this new generation iPod Touch is the same size as the previous one since buying a case that I like is not a problem at all. There is no need for searching and wondering if cases will fit well since if they fit well in the previous generation then they will fit well with this new one.

love the thin sleek look and all the available apps which makes this tool more than a mp3 player. it's easy to use and sounds great as usual! love apple products! no complaints here!

Bought this for my 9 year olds bday. She had an old one that couldn’t update. This size is perfect for her music and few apps she likes. I wish they made one without full capabilities so she didn’t have access to text or call. It is the perfect pink she loves

I've waited a long time to get a new ipod. My old touch 4's battery life was short and the new 6 is great. It charges much faster. Since i'm not a iPhone fan, i still rely on iPods for music.

I've gotten every iPod touch since 3rd gen and this is the one best yet. I'm not a phone person so it's perfect for me. Feels the same as the 5 but works much better and has a better camera. With no monthly bill and being able to talk in wifi, this is the way to go!

My daughter wanted the ability to get online, FaceTime family & friends, listen to music and play games. I wanted her to be able to do that without buying her a cellphone. This iPod touch made us both happy!! Lots of functions in a compact and easy to use device.

This is a sleek, beautiful finish iPod that has plenty of room for all my music. I also do a lot of music streaming with the Spotify and Pandora apps. This works well and I have not had any lags with wifi quality. The screen is just like an iPhone and the interface is the same, so super easy for me to use. Works well with any Bluetooth speaker I have connected to it. Recommend!

I don't like talking on the phone, and I don't like paying monthly phone payments, but I do like using the iPod for the Internet, for playing games like Words with Friends and Scrabble, for taking photos and for listening to audiobooks. I've had iPod Touches for many years; this one is pretty and slim, and does everything I want it to do. It only works with wifi, but that's fine with me. That's the only drawback; I'd like to have the Internet in my pocket while walking out in the woods, but it's fine just as wifi.

The iPod Touch is probably rather outdated for most, but perfect if you don't need a phone. It's small and lightweight, feels very slick and sturdy in the hand. As phones get larger this can get a little awkward to use. It is very responsive and the sound is great. Images are fine but I don't really take photos with it. The front-facing camera does really well with video, too. I really only use this for 1 particular app, Sing! by Smule. Reviews on this device from other sites claim it to have a great battery life but this app is particularly draining. In standby, the battery is about par with any other device. If you like to use apps that require a lot of resources you might find the battery lets you down. Otherwise this is a great value for a casual entertainment companion!

Bought this with the intention of using it periodically working around house. I love this ipod. Best thing I ever bought.Sound is awesome and easy to use..Worth every dime I spent on it.

Upgrading from an APPLE IPod Touch 4th generation. My daughter is in LOVE with this 6th generation model! 32gb is probably plenty of space for now until she is old enough for a phone. Nothing to complain about, this product overall is 5 stars!

Bought for my wife because her 2nd gen started to die out. Pretty musch an iphone 6 without the phone part. Love playing with the slo mo camera. Bluetooth to sync to her car is very nice.

Wanted a stand-alone I Pod and I Phone features without the telephone. Easy to use, great phone camera, very nice display and long battery life. Needed to purchase a Lightning to 30 pin adapter for my docking stations but minor inconvenience.

I wasn't aware that I would have to install a new operating system on my MacBook in order to run the very latest versions of iTunes and Photos. Definitely look at the specs and factor this in when deciding whether to get the iPod touch 6 or an earlier generation. Apple gives has the latest OS, El Capitan, available as a free download. I'm finding it rather glitchy and don't like it as much, but I had to update in order to use the iPod with my computer. I I got the iPod touch because I wanted the features of an iPhone, but want to keep my phone separate and simple. So far I'm very happy with the device. It runs fast and the layout is pretty intuitive, even for someone who doesn't have a smartphone.The camera is very nice. I don't love the Apple headphones that came with it because they don't cancel out noise; I can't use them on the train because I can't hear anything.

I had the gen 5 before. and this is seriously a big improvement. camera, core processing, fast exit/enter, fast turn on and shut off. battery is okay requires multiple charges in one day if used alot. thank goodness for lightning port.

Bought this for my son for his birthday so he can have a few games and music on the go along with communicating with his friends. He doesn't have a phone yet, so this keeps him in touch with others including us, his parents on the go.
