    The sleeve fits well but is not very thick. Will not provide much protection if dropped. Benefit is that you can charge while in sleeve. Have seen other similar leather options online for half the price.

    The official Apple leather sleeves are brilliant, attractive, and minimal protection of your MacBook Pro from basic scratches, spills, etc. There is no padding protection so another “bag” is needed; however, for daily use in an active office environment where you are moving between meetings, the break room, etc., this sleeve is perfect. Tight fit for the first 10-20 uses, it does soften a bit and allow extraction with less effort. Very attractive with an imprinted Apple logo on one side, plus dedicated “bumps” for the Pro’s feet. Typical Apple, they aren’t cheap!

    The sleeve looks amazing. But I think its a bit over price. Fits perfectly. After a while the leather will change color.

    Overall, I like the cover and I use it every day. I'm OCD and I can't stand misc stuff in my messenger bag scraping against my Macbook. Unfortunately I haven't found a bag that both functions well enough and looks good enough to provide the coverage needed for the 16" Macbook Pro. So this is my solution for now. My only gripe is that it could either be less tight or have a slicker liner as it is pretty tight on the laptop.

    It is not much for 200 bucks. Was expecting more. It works, but it does not even protect the Mac that much.
